Wonderland (a.k.a. Isetan)
Saturday, 19 November

Jean-Paul Hévin. This is my favorite chocolate shop in this world at the moment. When they opened a store here at Isetan, I was so happy. The drawback about this store is since they have gotten way more popular after crazy advertising, you will usually have to wait for 15 mins to get in!!! That's crazy. I don't want that. So, I usually go in the morning when it's cold for people to get up still. :-) I can get in without waiting. I picked up "Mont Blanc", Marron Cake. Even though Jean-Paul Hévin is famous for Chocolate as the one he makes is considered "jewel", his marron cake is fabulous. I had a great tea time with my friends while enjoying the cake. If you happen to be in Paris, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, may I suggest stopping by this fabulous store? But if you are not a fan of chocolate, you don't have to. :-) I think I am gonna have to run 3 extra kilos though.... Fantabulous weekend!

Sounds like you had a fantabulously delicious Saturday morning. I'm glad we don't have too many fancy cake and chocolate shops here in Hamada, but of course, I still manage to gain tons of weight eating delicious junk food anyway! I will definitely have to check out the Isetan the next time I am in Tokyo!

Now that picture got me salivating! Interesting that we posted similar entries today, mine was for Melty Kiss chocolates. I'm sure your chocolate experience was more fabulous than mine. "Artiste Chocolatier" eh? Now that's just divine. :)

Hi GaijinGirl,
Yes, Absolutely did! That's the problem. There is one french shop "Laduree" is in town right now at Isetan!!! But I don't think I can handle two different pieces in the same month. :-( I think I will get that next month :-) There are so many delish things here in Japan, aren't they?? If you happen to go to Hiroshima, JPH is there, too. :-) Check it out when you are in Hiroshima even! Good day!
Hi Leigh,
I know you are. I don't think a lot of college students (Some college students with money do that though) go for a lot of fancy chocolate shops like JPH. :-) But I know what I will get you once you are in town then! Wait for it. :-) Pleasant day!
Hi Will,
Oh yea, it should have a label saying "You might be dead after consuming our chocolate" or something. :-) It's sinfully delish. If you happen to be assigned to Paris flight, please visit JPH. :-) Um... I think I will quit smoking from January 1st. :-) But you see I don't have any one to date or something.. huh. :-) Splendid day!
Hi Mark,
Meltykiss, huh? I'd rather have "REAL" meltykisses instead of chocolate meltykiss but I know the green tea one is awesome! There are some things like "Decoration" pocky which is different from normal pocky. Deco-pocky is really rich and nice! If you like Meltykiss, I am sure you will like that, too. Good day!
Hi James,
um.... FYI, Easyjet flies from London City to Paris. :-) £60 for round trips. How's that? You should be able to make the same day trip to Paris under £100 including chocolate at JPH. :-) Some unusual exciting weekend plan. :-) Fly there, get chocolate! You are not against French, are you? :-) hehehe. Have a good day!

Oh My Gawd!!!!!! Why did you have to tell me there is one in Hiroshima?! I know exactly where that Andersen is, too...
Never mind--it will be a sumptuous post-1 kyuu treat to myself. Thank you for letting me know. Do you have any recommendations? :)
