This is the photo from the trip I made last week and I came back yesterday :) Yes, I went to NY as you can see :) Here are some things from what I experienced during the trip.
- I just realized that I cannot pronounce "Bud Light". Whenever I order it, the bartender goes "Huh?" I need to get this right.
- Regardless, I got "You speak English well" compliments... But I think I am doing pretty good considering I don't live there :)
- In Portland, I got to talk to a lot of people whom I don't know. I guess that's Portland. It barely happens here in Tokyo so I am kinda jealous of people living in cities where you can talk to strangers. I mean I could still do this here but it's likely I get a weird look back.
- I love American cocktails because it's reasonable and nice :) My favorite is either Vodka Cranberry or Vodka Soda. Oh, Bloody Mary in the morning, of course :)
- Now, I am back in Tokyo and it's very cold. snowing actually... I miss warm weather in Portland and Vegas....
- I was asked if I did twitter by these strangers.. (is it happening in the States?) No, I don't do twitter. Blog and Facebook are the things I can handle now :)

The Cape Cod (vodka and cranberry with lime) is my favorite cocktail.
I wish you would let me know the next time you come to Portland. I could try to meet you; I only live 4 hours away from Portland.
