Shigeki,
you are obsessed but you don't realize it because you are Japanese :p Beautiful photos!

hey, nice evening pics of cherry blossoms with some street lamps as a backdrop.
hmm...I would coin it as fascination rather than obsession. Cherry blossoms like fireworks doesn't last very long but the anticipation and while it is in full splendor, it is really beautiful. Don't you think so?
Happy Easter

Hello Shigeki,
People over here are crazy over cherry blossoms too. Was in DC last weekend. The place was like a zoo!! Worse than Times Sq! But the blossoms were beautiful! I didn't have your discipline for early morning flower viewing tho.
Happy Easter!

I went to Himeji to see a Belgian art exhibition, but I should have planned it better and included hanami at Himeji Castle. Then again, all the crowds of people were starting to make me feel anxious. I know Himeji is nothing compared to Tokyo and its crowdedness...I don't know how you cope with it, but then again, you live within walking distance of your office, right?

Hi Sgx,
Thanks very much. That's very nice way to put it as opposed to the previous commentor :) haha. Yes, it is very beautiful but every cherry blossom here is totally gone in Tokyo!! ugh! until next year! have a good one
Hi Tiptup,
hahaha. This is why I always find a great spot with less people and I know some and I was able to introduce it to my friend as well :) have a good one!
Hi GaijinGirl,
Himeji Castle must be very beautiful! I have never been there myself because I have never been to Okayama prefecture before but I hear it's fantabulous! yes, I walk to work recently :) haha. And I know some spots with less crowds :) I don't like crowds. have a good one!
