I don't mean to brag but I can do good :)

Tue, 30 September 2008

This is the view from the restaurant I took a friend of a homo friend from LA to. It was fabulous. A homo friend of mine from LA flew in last week and it was his first time to be in Tokyo though he was just here for three nights. I showed him around a little. When I show someone around in Tokyo, I don't focus on tradditional areas because that could be probably done better in Kyoto or other traditional cities. Tokyo is all about energy so I tend to take somewhere very noisy/plastic/shiny/beautiful. I didn't focus on the homo district too much, either since I don't hang out there much. But I covered homo basics :) We went to a sophisticated Japanese Izakaya for the first night and Tempura for the second. Even though it's always hard to explain the menu in detail in English, I tried my best. I showed him how to take the subway and some tips in Japanese. I hope he had a good time to see Shigeki's version of Tokyo. Since he drinks wine, we went to my favorite wine bar even. Yes, I have to admit I did drink a lot last week even though I was busy at work. It was a miracle that I didn't have any hang over. Now, yesterday, GaijinGirl was here. She is here for her sister's tennis match. I took her to one of the favorite traditional Japanese restaurants in Tokyo. I hope she had a good time. :) I am hoping I can take her to antoher place before she leaves. I had a hunky Spanish gay friend visiting last month and he said he had a great time. I will have another friend visiting from the States next month and Mark, possibly in November? I must admit I am getting better to show somoene around here in Tokyo :) I may not be a great concierge but I am always delighted to assist my friends :) Really. If you plan to come here whether you are straight or gay, please let me know. My schedule might not work some times but I will do best! The only problem was I already spent a half of my monthly allowance for October...Have a fantabulous day!

Hi SGX,

Thanks very much. Whenever you have a chance to visit Tokyo, I shall be your hostess :) I mean I might work crazy but if you let me know your schedule in advance, I am sure I can work something out :) Happy day!

HI T.Kevin,

Oh yes, it's very pretty :) Well, I will be here so whenever you have a plan to visit "far east", let me know :) There are a lot of cuties here :) Happy day!

Hi TigerYogiji,

Sure. When that someday comes, please let me know :) Happy day!

Hi GaijinGirl,

hahaha. that's okay and it was a sophisticated dinner so i couldn't let you pay or anything. I didn't go bankrupt or anything so don't worry. Happy day!
