OMG, I have never seen an ATM with Russian as an option! I am very surprised that a city on the NW coast did not have Japanese. And they had Portugese!?

And Dan Savage, I met him a while back; he's very nice. I used to know the founders of the Stranger, way back when they first hired him, so we had mutual friends. His boyfriend and I have the same first name :-)

Sigh, the fog and clouds are so pretty. I need to see Seattle and Portland.

Cute picture! You hide your drunkenness well. Thank you as always. :-)

I like that photo of you :-) And you don't seem to get red when you drink. I get so red after 2 sips one of my friends calls me 'tomato'. Enjoy the rest of your trip, or are you already back in Tokyo?

My, I believe that's the first time I've seen your face! Previously was just a hand, a censored crotch shot. :D.

Grrl. You are so brave to sing karaoke in front of strangers. I don't think I could do that no matter how drunk I was. *smooches*

Gotta love Oregon's 0% sales tax! Am I mistaken, or was there a Japanese TV series about Oregon about 15 years ago? Maybe that's why my Japanese friends love Portland so much. My Hiroshima sister did a homestay there for a while when she was in high school.

I hope you can find some Sriracha in your next destination! But I think you are spicy enough without it (^_~)

Hi T.Kevin,

THat's right. no Japanese even though there is a direct flight to Tokyo from Portland!!!! What's wrong? Wow, you have met Dan Savage? He is like my star. I am so jealous! How did you meet him? If you see him again, please tell him he has an avid fan in Tokyo :-) Well, I am not cute in that photo but thanks! Have a good one!

Hi fashmagslag,

THanks very much. I get red when I drink beer a lot. But it doesn't make me red when I drink vodka or whiskey :-) Nope. I am not in Tokyo yet :-) I shall eventually. Have a good one!

Hi Lifebook,

Thanks for saying something nice while I don't look cute. Have a good one!

Hi GaijinGirl,

Yup, those TV series were so live when I was about to go to Portland 16 years ago. I was devastated how country side it would be by watching that TV show!!! Have a good one!
