Pretty good for camera pics! I think you make us guess where youa re going on purpose, which is more fun anyway. I was gonna guess Bangkok just as I got to picture 6! Sounds like you had a fun time, granpa. ;-)

Fabulous! I'm glad that you had a good time Grandpa! :P

Japan has a golden showers week? :)

Nice holiday and a fab hotel lobby!!

Oh and "big mice" are rats, btw

OH, I love Bangkok. And rambutan (the red and green hairy-looking fruit) is one of my favorites! YUM!

If you like dried fruits, you should get yourself a pack of dried mangoes, esp. the ones from the Philippines. Philippine mangoes are the sweetest in the world! I'm sure you'll find one, since it has even found its way here in Oslo and in a small town in the middle of Norway. :-) Wow, you only brought that bag? I'm impressed.

Great pics!
How cool it is that you are still friends with your junior high school buddies.

I saw that type of taxi when I was watching a televison show we have here called The Great Race. It looks like a golf cart. :-)

Enjoy the rest of the "Golden Week"!!

hey, I was just in bangkok in march. those tuks tuks are a definite no no. we visited the palace and wat arun too. sure miss the shopping and the food!! I still have 1 pack of dried jackfruit. yum yum!

Hi T.Kevin,

I didn't make you guess on purpose but I didn't upload photos that can see where we were :-) Yes, the bangkok trip was very fun. You have a good day!

Hi TigerYogi,

Oh yes, I did :-) Thanks. You have a good day!

Hi Steven,

Well, Japan is not as kinky as you would like it to be :-P I didn't know you would like that. Thanks for the correction! I didn't know the difference honestly. :-) You have a good day!

Hi Vuboq,

That's kewl. Rambutan is fabulous, too. I like that :-) You have a good day!

HI Mark,

Aren't dried mangoes too sweet though? But I haven't tried the philippines ones so I should when I have a chance :-) But I like bananas from the Philippines :-) You have a good day!

Hi Maggie,

I think I have less college friends than senior/junior high school friends actually...Because I moved around a lot during college years.... Yup. It looks like a golf cart :-) You have a good day!

HI Tiptup,

You were? I hope you did enjoy your trip to Thailand. Tuks Tuks are no-no for sure. I've only taken it once. dried jackfruit rocks! I love that, too! I wish we had that here.... :-( You have a good day!

I didn't know the Philippines exports bananas... Or is it the kind of "bananas" I'm thinking of? Hahaha. Kidding! Nah, the dried ones are not too sweet as one would expect.

Aww man, seeing those fruits made me crave for 'em. The green bumpy one is my favorite. It's called atis in the Philippines ( I just found out it's called sweet sop or sugar apple). It has like ten million seeds inside but it is soooo good.

Was in Bangkok at that period too.. :) It would be nice if we meet up for a drink since I have read many of your blog entries. It is a shopping and party heavn.
