you have a beautiful day!!!!
you have a great day!!!!
Wow, it's a long time ago.... you have a gorgeous day!!!!
you have a fantastique week!!!
Actually, when I went to college in Seattle, I actually drove down here to San Francisco for the spring break with some college dudes. Back then, we did touristy thingies. I even went to a straight club. :-) This time, it's more relaxing and not stupid like the one I had 10 years ago :-0 Anyway, you have wonderful weekend!!!
I didn't leave my heart here as I have never lived here before. But since it's close to Japan, I've been here a lot of times. I like this city because people are friendly and wine is nice here. I am so jetlagged right now and I will take a nap. If there are any other photos to share, I shall tomorrow or the day after. Until then... you have a super fantastic weekend!!!
You have a wonderful day!!

When you don't have anything planned for the day, what would you do? I happen to read books and research on something unimportant or explorer the city. While I have been living in Tokyo forever and am a Tokyo native, I still enjoy exploring the city. Anyway, this morning, on my way to the gym, I stopped by this temple that has this statue. Let me introduce King of Hell named "Enma" to you. This is supposed to be the king sitting at the entrance part of hell. So when the death is sent to hell, s/he meets this king and is determined how sinful s/he is. If s/he has ever told a lie in the past, Enma (The king) will cut her/his tongue off. So my father used to take me to this temple to tell me it's always no-no to lie. I was scared to see this statue when I was little. So I guess my father's intetion worked well with this. But I think this belief has to be updated is what I thought this morning. Because you can never not lie these days. This one time, someone asked me "Are you interested in going to that fantabulous italian dinner with us?" I'd say "Oh, I'd love to but I have something planned" which is so much nice than "You always talk about yourself and bore the others to death. I'd rather eat dinner alone " which is the truth. If I was not allowed to lie, I'd be bad at socializing. So when I saw this thing, I thought "You must be very busy to cut everyone's tongue." But I still think it's nice to educate kids with this statue's story. I wouldn't call it a double-standard because kids eventually find out how dirty the adult world is :-) You have a fantabulous day with good lies!

According to the workaholics I ran into, I would be bored to death if I didn't work. Some friends from college told me it would be bad to live without having any purporse or a job. Some others told me I'd feel empty when I got up and realized I didn't have to go to work and didn't have friends to hang out in the middle of the day. As you can tell, many people here in Japan think living without a job is a bad thing or a crime apparently. But I am so glad to tell you I don't feel empty. I am here at a cafe and still reading a newspaper. I didn't even realize how fast I had to read the newspaper to start the day. Now, I don't have to :-) For the rest of this month, I decided not to do anything specific or set up any goal I'd like to achieve. As I am still paid by the "former" work, I don't have to worry about the finance for some time. I may not be able to carry on the life I had until last week but as long as I learn to live "reasonably", I don't have to worry about the job for some time. If I don't have to work at all for the rest of my life, I wouldn't even if many people tell me it would be a bad thing. I said I'd start a thing in May but that was just a business talk. I am thinking of not getting a job for another six months or more.... Anyway, the minimum requirement for my life this month is to get up at 8a.m. even if I don't have to do anything for the day...But I do have an issue to come up with the best answer when "What do you do for living?" is asked. That's something I have to think about. That's the biggest problem in my life right now. :-) Now, I am off to the gym and will enjoy the luxurious moment when it's emptier :-) I like the emptier gym. You have a happy week!

This is what I sent at work awhile ago. :-) There is a Japanese saying that "You leave gracefully" so that's what I do even if I hated this work for the last 2 years. I am off to the farewell dinner they will throw. I am so going to get drunk! No more biz trip (yay!). No more luxurious life (boo) but I am happy :-) Have a happy weekend!
You have a wonderful day!!
You have a fantastic week!!!
Happy Weekend!!!

Finally, Japan has started selling my favorite sparking water on this planet. Gerolsteiner from Germany! This sparkling water is "very hard" 1400mg/L. Even though it's very hard (blush), it doesn't taste like it has a lot of mineral. I believe this is accomodated because it has fine bubbles :-) Water Hardness is determined by how much mineral there is per liter according to WHO. FYI, Evian's hardness is 291, Contrex's is 1500 while Volvic's is 60. So you can understand how hard my favorite sparkling water is. The harder, the better? Well, yes on a totally different topic I would love to elaborate but it doesn't mean the harder, the better in water. I prefer hard water when I drink though. Japan has relatively soft water. The best water considered in Japan is in Kyoto and it's ridiculously soft. (the 4th slide) Soft water is good for fixing Japnaese green tea, steaming rice (sticky kind), and Japanese soup stock (Dashi). Hard water is considered good for fixing/boiling meat, pasta and more mineral to consume after workout of course.

You have a pretty day!!
For those who sent me e-mail to see how I was doing, aren't you sweet? If there was a way to deliver kisses over the Internet, I would :-) Thank you! It's been crazy weeks as I had to go to Boston for 24 hours. Just 24 freaking hours!!! Anyway, things should be less crazy as I will quit my work soon. Yay. You have a good week!
