2... In front of the hotel, the first store ever of Krispy Kreme is there. It opened last December and is the only Krispy Kreme store in Japan. But do I want a doughnut by waiting in the line for 30 mins? There is a long line always in front of the store and it usually takes 30 mins to get into "KRISPY KREME". Let me repeat, it's just a freaking KRISPY KREME store. I think I can live without a doughnut. It was really surprising to know how much you have to wait..
3... Instead of the donught, we had this fantabulous cake from France. However, my friend kept saying "I am going to be so heavy after having this." You know it has a lot of calories for sure but it tastes fantabulous. So it's such a waste to feel guilty for something so good. But since he is a catholic gay guy like myself, I think he has to feel guilty like he does after having sex. On the other hand, I didn't feel guilty. I ran extra 5Km this morning. I am all set :-)

5... But I was taught the three most needs for human beings are "sex", "food", and "sleep" in some psychology class. Since I don't get much action or sleep lately, it's natural to talk about food like this. I am not sad. :-) Have a super wonderful Tuesday!

to me it looks like some weird sausage sandwich thing with squoosy not-to-be-named stuff in the middle around the sausages. i hope it tasted good.
Krispy Kreme!!! Thirty minute wait for a donut? That's nothing! When Shirokiya brought Beard Papa to Hawaii as a featured product, I once waited 2 hours in line to get a box of 5 cream puffs. The maximum amount allowed at the time. Now there are at least four Beard Papas on the island and the novelty has worn off. So how much are the Krispy Kremes? Walking up the hill from Azabu Jūban I passed Donut Plant - New York and thought this might be a little treat for my friends I was staying with. Purchased 9 donuts for about 3000 yen. That's almost $30 for 9 donuts! And, in my opinion, it wasn't that good. It tasted like it was a day old. But nearby is Hop Choux Ala Creme! Dang, some "ono" cream puffs! Sorry for the long comment about donuts and cream puffs.

Sigh, I want to see the prettiest waiter on this planet. Hooray for not feeling guilty! I had my first Krispy Kreme a couple weeks ago at Dupont Circle/Gay Central in DC where there is plenty of guilt. It was ok, nothing special.
You say you ran an extra 5K? How far do you usually run? Whew!

I tried a Krispy Kreme donut once, and didn't see what all the fuss was about. (Of course, I was raised on the more cake-like Dunkin' Donuts!)

I kmow what you mean about the Krispy Kreme. There are always line-ups.
I'm not a donut person anyway, it was only curiosity.

I think I wanted to say 30min wait is not worth the thing at all as I didn't particularly like Krespy Kreme. I heard you'd have to wait for 2 hours to get in on weekends. But I don't think I am that patient :-) Beard Papas is okay. I heard original galzed one is 150 yen = US$1.25 = 0.95 Euros here.
