To defend myself, I didn't say having a thick accent is bad. But I thought it would be cool if you sound more understandable. That's all. :-) Happy Week!!
Non-Japanese moment (sorry)

Don't be sorry; you do sound pretty damn good. :-) I think there is a happy midpoint between being too modest and being arrogant.
TK
I think your English is perfect and easy to understand. So no need to be sorry, buddy. Love your voice! So damn sexy!
PRETTY DAMN COOL:P as long as ur happy we're happy SHIG:)
Accented English is v. sexy. Of course, it raises the question of what is UNaccented English? British English? Australian English? US Midwestern English? It's our accents that make the language so interesting ... in my humble opinion. *smooches*
Shigeki-san, I think that you speak English very well indeed! (Much better than a lot of people that I work with in fact!)
Humble or not, I think that you are a fantabulous person! :)
There was a TV Cartoon in the 70's that stared a dog called, "Underdog".
The premise was that he was "humble and lovable" .
Underdog gets his powers from a special "super energy pill" concealed in a special ring. Before taking one, he would utter the words, "The secret compartment of my ring I fill with an Underdog Super Energy Pill". He appears to be a normal, powerless being without it and must take one in order to use his powers. There have been times where he has overworked himself, and must take another pill in order to sustain his powers.
Sound familiar??? :-)
PS Why are you running away from the Boar?
AKA The New Year.
You should do more audio post of that SEXY VOICE ;)
Hi TK,
Thanks very much but I would love to sound clearer which would never happen as I am here :-) But I am pretty much okay with what I have. :-) You have a fantabulous day!
Hi Mark,
Thank you very much. Though I have no idea how many times I said this but I don't particularly like my voice though :-( You have a fantabulous day!
Hi Envyspot,
PRETTY DAMN KEWL :-) I've never said that for real.. Thanks very much. I wish you a fantabulous day!
Hi Vuboq,
I guess it depends on what kind of accent it would be though. In the States, I heard Midwest English would be "standard" according to this guy but I am not sure. You have a fantabulous day!
Hi TigerYogi,
Thank you very much. As long as people don't go "huh? What the hell are you saying?", I am happy :-) But it happens to me sometimes when I go to your country :-( You have a fantabulous day!
Hi Maggie,
So he had to take pills to be humble and lovable? I don't have those :-( Well, I am not sure what you really meant but I don't really leverage my accent. :-) About the boar, well, boars do chase you and they are very scary. As a matter of fact, I think I read the news article that some old people were chased by them and they got hurt pretty bad. So it's very natural for us to think boars chase people. That's the only thing I could come up with when I thought of the boar. :-) You have a fantabulous day!
Hi Makeurchoice,
Thanks very much but I don't really find it sexy and this audio thingy is only once-a-month thingy :-( You have a fantabulous day!
I've said this to you many times, you worry about your spoken english way too much, I find your accent very relaxing and find listen to your voice journals very amusing, and like everyone from time to time you come across a word that you find tricky to pronouce but who cares, we love you for who you are :o)
He WAS humble and lovable but he took pills to be a super "Underdog".
Sorry, I'm not explaining it well.
I just meant that you are humble and lovable. :-)
