Such a busy dude. By the way, is that capelin called shishamo in Japanese? The first time I had it I thought I was not going to like it, I was wrong, it was delicious.
My friends took me to this Inakaya in Roppongi whose clientele were mostly gaijin. They communicate the orders by yelling it even the other person may be 5 feet away. So this guy walks in and I think he looks familiar. The staff tell each other very quietly: ブルース (buru-su) confirming my suspicion that it was Bruce Willis. Then he disappears.

Don't stop with the slideshows! All the food pictures make me hungry though. The grilled chicken looked particularly delicious, but I'd try just about all of it.

Hope 'the finger' is doing better. And be careful about painkillers with drinking, but you know that I'm sure.

I'm amazed that all that food didn't soak up the alcohol anyway!!

That looks like a fun time!! :)

I have mixed alcohol and pain killers.

The food in picture 5 with the egg yolk looks interesting. I would try it without the egg yolk though.

looks like a nice place to hangout. so is your pinky tied to a splint? it must itch so! XD

That's a lot of food in a drinking session. I usually don't eat when I drink. Is that bad? I don't drink on an empty stomach, though. I had Yakitori last Sunday and it was damn good, or was it just because I haven't had Japanese in a looong time? Happy Friday!

とりあえずビールか?!www
The yakitoris look soooo goooodddd!! Just with salt is how I like them. Yum Yum!

Hi LaneO,

Yes, you got it right. Capelin is called Shishamo. :-) I am glad you found it delicious :-) Huh... there is an izakaya for foreigners and Bruce Willis was there? huh... I'd love to see John Barrowman but the chance is very slim as he is not big here :-( You have a super happpy weekend!

Hi T.Kein,

hahaha. I think I will do it whenever I feel like it :-) Yup, the grilled chicken is darn good. I am sure there is a place that you can have over there. If you see one, you should definitely try! Yes, I will be a good boy for the painkillers. But they are...oh my :-) You have a super happy weekend!

HI TigerYogi,

hahaha. Well, the thing is we get to eat a lot of things when drinking :-) You have a super happy weekend!

Hi Cesar,

Isn't that fantabulous even though it might knock you out? :-) Well, you should definitely try it with the yolk, really :-) It's not as gross as you might imagine :-) You have a super happy weekend!

Hi Tiptup,

It's an okay place to hang out. yup :-) Yeah, it is and it is bothering but it has some holes so I can scratch the pinky with the pin or something :-) You have a super happy weekend!

Hi Mark,

Well, I think it's the Japanese thing that we get to eat a lot of stuff while drinking. Yup, it's definitely Japanese :-) When I am abroad, I don't really eat when I drink but it's so natural that we get to eat various things here :-) You have a super happy weekend!

Hi Hafiz Hector,

Yup, I'd always go with the beer first :-) I am with you. I always go for Yakitori with only salt. :-) That's the best! You have a super happy weekend!
