Fabulous!
In my next life I hope that I'm born in Japan!
P.S. What was in that Green Tea Parfait? I could identify the ice cream and whipped cream, but, what were those other items?

I think it is a Japanese Maple tree. That sounds familiar.
Uh-oh, Mr. Stubble's mannerisms are starting to annoy you? That's not a good sign. (even if you are tired).
My favorite pic is # 5. I know it would be disrespectful but I would like to lay down on those leaves.
Glad you're back in your MOST favorite city and I hope your mind is well rested. ( I know your feet aren't). :-)

I've got a momiji leave dried between the pages of my japanese-english dictionary. Its my second favouritest tree in the whole wide world ;o) the first being calimansi- the tropical lime....

I am sure you are just tired after spending all the time with Mr. Stubbles. Just think of all of the beautiful places you showed him, if it was your first time seeing them too would you be amazed?

Hooray! The holiday edition of "Somewhere..." is up! Memories of a pre-JLPT 2 exam trip to Kyoto: Kokedera...I forget the formal name, but it was stunning. The ginko trees were full of bright yellow leaves. The beauty of Kyoto made me forget my nervousness about the exam! Glad you had a great time & good eats. You even got to see Mt. Fuji! Lucky you!

Were you making pleasure noises in the forest? How naughty!

Thanks for sharing that tip regarding seat choice to see Mt. Fuji. That one's priceless. And that dessert made me salivate. Yum!

Hi LaneO,
No problem at all. A short day trip can be very expensive and too short for Kyoto visit. :-) When you come here next time, you should at least take a week in Kyoto. :-) no, it's not gonna be that long. :-) You have a fantabulous week!
Hi TigerYogi,
hehehe. Well, it totally depends on which Japan you will be born in though. There are several unfortunate places... The white ball look like stuff is dumpling stuff made out of glutinous rice flour and the green cubes are jello made out of Matcha (green tea). :-) It was so fabulous. :-) You have a fantabulous week1
Hi Maggie,
Mr. Stubble's MANNERISMS? :-) Well, I put up with it finally. :-) I think you might get kicked out if you lie down there on those leaves. :-) Yes, the MOST favorite city. :-) Yay. I am so happy to be here. Even though I like Kyoto a lot, I find Tokyo a lot better still. :-) You have a fantabulous week!
Hi TK,
Thanks for browsing photos. You have a fantabulous week!
Hi AJ,
Wow, that's very romantic of you that you keep your dried momiji leave like that. :-) I googled calimansi but didn't come up with a good result... .. You have a fantabulous week!
Hi Cesar,
I hope so. I got back to the normal life and rarely see him these days so that's pretty much okay. :-) But he should be super lucky that it was his first time to see the most Beautiful scenes in Kyoto! You have a fantabulous week!
Hi GaijinGirl,
I think Kokedera is supposed to be the best in humid rainy season around June according to the Jushoku "Temple master?" because all the moss gets thicker and greeener. But seriously, going there to Kyoto in the summer season is like slashing your wrist. :-) So it's better to see it in autumn like you did. You have a fantabulous week!
Hi Colin,
pleasure noises? I highly doubt it. :-) You have a fantabulous weekend!
Hi NV,
Japan should be a very interesting to visit for many nonJapanese for sure. Well, some hate Japan so... :-) the bullet train looks like what? I didn't get it. You have a fantabulous week!
Hi Mark,
Thank you for browsing the photos. :-) Yup, I like traditional Japanese dessert as well as the western one. Though Tokyoites are more fond of anything European so I relaly apppreciated what I had there. :-) You have a fantabulous week!
