we're being told that the winters here in canada are going to be milder too. i don't know if i like that. it's one thing when it rains in the summer, when it's warm. it's another thing when it rains in the winter and it's just above 0ºC. also, i would miss the snow. it's makes things pretty when it's new.

The last time I remember El Nino in California, winter came late--I went snowboarding in May (I think). My memory just isn't what it used to be anymore. When I worked at Disneyland, we were trained to "put a smile in our voices," even though we were rolling our eyes as we answered for the 500th time what the park hours and admission prices were. "Have a nice day!" (^_^)
