A peaceful day off

1... So this is my day off. Yesterday was "Labor Thanksgiving day" here in Japan and it was a national holiday. But I had to work. Today, it's just a usual Friday but since the headquarters people are so busy to eat Turkey, I decided to take a day off. I went to Muji which is a Japanese chain that sells stationary, food, and clothes. It's indeed Christmasy in there even though many of us don't practice Christianity. Anyway, you can see what I got by clicking the photo. It's my disease I usually spend too much in there.....
2... So I had a date with Mr. Stubble yesterday. We drove around with my motorcycle. Yes, I told him my car hasn't been fixed. And it's the only time I get to wear a leather jacket anyway. :-) But it was too chilly to drive in the bay area so we were very shivering until we got ourselves coffee... Now I admire those bikers who can drive in the middle of the freezing winter...
3... Mr. Stubble speaks Japanese fluently so he doesn't have any French accent when he does unfortunately. It would have been much sexier if he spoke it with a french accent. Speaking of which, French sounds so sexy. I don't disagree. But German sounds so angry. Is it just me? I heard one angry German speaking German yesterday and it was very scary....
Anyway, you have a fantabulous weekend!

Conglatulations on your day off after a long time..! I really hope you take a great rest as you seems work too much ;-) Next time when I drop by Muji,I'll look for a man who buy lots of things,,thinking 'Moshikasite,Shigeki sang..?' I hope.ha-ha ;-D Have a fabulous weekend!

After looking at the photo, I can't really make out what you bought. A lot of pens, that's for sure. Stingy with office supplies at work?

There are other ways to get warm...

Does he revert to french while in thewild throes of passion??

I want! I want! I want the Muji as the x'mas gift.. send to my home please.. haha :)

Agreed with Will on the way of getting warm. :)

That's a whole lot of things! Is that a calculator you bought? Or an underware with calculator lookalike box?

French is definitely sexy, so is Spanish. Ooh... I thought of Antonio Banderas.

What are all those long cylindrical silver things? You certainly bought a lot of them!!! :P

Sawasdee ka from Bang-KOK. My dad, stepmom and I had a conversation about the meaning of Bangkok--"Bang" supposedly means "Land of," so it loses no points in lewdity when translated into English. I have no idea what "kok" means in Thai, but it must be the most amusing city name in the sex world, no?

I transited through Narita on the 15th, but alas, I didn't take your phone number with me, and doubtless you would have been working. It was so tempting to crash through immigration and live life as an illegal alien in Japan, but I didn't pack any winter clothes.

OMG...you thought L.A. internet was slow--my family is STILL on dial-up here in Thailand. But the inside of your Muji bag was worth the wait. Good luck with your resignation & enjoy the down time! MUWAH!!!!!!!

I love drawing pens! Yes motorcycling in the cold is no fun; you need to do it when it is warm and you can wear shorts, and you and he just have t-shirts on for better holding...

I think German is kind of sexy... it has a certain brutality to it... I went with a guy a few times who spoke German, I think he thought I was weird because I kept asking him to say things in German.

TK

It looks like you did some good shopping! Are those pens?

I didn't realize Mr. Stubble was French. That is hot, they do have great accents.

Mr. Stubble is French?

Ooh la la! C'est Bon Shigeki! Oui! Oui! Plus! Plus! :-)

I'm with you. German dialect sounds so guttural.

Par exemple:

French man (sexy voice) "J'aime votre ane".
German man (guttural voice) " Ich mag Ihren Esel".

It always sounds like they are mad at you for something..
Have a great week-end ! :-)

Well, you know how I feel about Muji! Did you go to the Yurakucho one, or the Shinjuku one? Anyway, looks like I will be in Japan this summer at the end of June into July. Muji shopping?

Sorry to revert to kindergarten rhymes but... shigeki and stubble sitting on a tree :)

Just so you know....there is an ^ on top of the "a" in ane when you translate it .

I hope you appreciate the humor in the german translation . :-)

The only time I've stepped inside Muji was when I was in HK where they have a shop there. Very cool items. :-) French is one of the languages I want to learn because you said it right, it sounds so f*ckin sexy! A German boy is now working with us until Christmas (who is very cute, by the way) and yeah, German sounds a bit aggressive. Have a great weekend!

Hi Leigh,

Thank you very much but you see time does fly by so fast! I hope it would have been a week off or something. :-) I only go to Muji and go crazy several times a year :-) That's all. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Hi William,

I bought pens, toiletry stuff, chocolate tart, memo pads... stuff like that. I don't ever ever buy stuff for work with my own Yen. :-) They are for myself. Are the french supposed to be wild? huh.. You have a fantabulous week!

HI Lifebook,

Hehehe. Yup, they are so fine. :-) I love them. I cannot get enough of them! You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Leggie,

Yes, it is a calculator indeed. I have no idea why I need it because I usually calculate in my head but I thought it would be nice to have it. :-) Antonio Banderas is too much for me. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

HI Tigeryogi,

those are fantabulous pens. :-) Yes, I spent too much. But it doesn't hurt since I hadn't spent on anything as i was too busy to work. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Hi GaijinGirl,

I am glad you are having a great time in Bnagkok and thanks for the description of the naughty city name. Too bad that you couldn't take the direct flight there from LA. I hate any transits. Really. :-) You have a fantabulous stay!

Hi TK,

Or you can wear less when it's hot. :-) Though riding one in the middle of the summer here in Tokyo would be tooo brutal actually. :-) You think Germany is sexy? huh.. that's new to me. I don't know German is so scary for me. :-) YOu have a fantabulous week!

HI Cesar,

Oh yes, I did :-) Yup, they are pens and seal for my last name. blah blah blah. :-) Too bad Mr. Stubble doesn't have any French accent as he speaks Japanese brilliantly :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Maggie,

Yes, he is. hahaha. Though since we are in Japan, we only communicate with each other in Japanese and he speaks Japanese fluently! Though when we say something naughty in public, we speak French. :-) Thanks for the examples :-) I don't know... I just picture a dude speaking agressively with spit coming out of his mouth when I think of German. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Fashmagslag,

I went to the one close to my place. the one in Aoyama. It's not as big as the Yurakucho one but it's bigger than Shinjuku with less people. :-) You will come over here next summer for work? Either way, give me a call. Muji Shopping? hahaha. I'd go crazy again. You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Paul,

I didn't go to a kindergarten to sin that thing so.. :-) I might get dumped anytime soon if I worked like this. Oh well. You have a fantabulous week!

HI Mark,

There is one in HK? huh... I wasn't particularly looking for Muji when I was in HK but I so didn't know. :-) I might have but didn't pay too much attention. You should totally upload the photo of the German boy. :-) I think I find Hebrew sexier than French but that's just me. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Oh wait, I found Muji here in Oslo! It's not a stand-alone store but it's in Ã…hlens Department Store. How could I ever take a picture of this German boy, hmmmm...?

Dude not wanting to be a troll. But I can't agree with the facts of this article used in trying to prove your point. Just Saying!
