We are obsessed with seasons.

Yeah, I guess we are obsessed with them. I have no idea why but I guess we heavily rely on seasonal stuff as there are so many seasonal little thingies almost everyday. or I was raised in the family where seasonal events were taken so seriously. I have no idea. Anyway, speaking of which, it's a very warm warm fall day today. I am going back to work from today. I am not looking forward to it but I will act pretty and deligent. You have a fantabulous Thursday!

I am SO jealous about all of these seasonal treats!!!

I've got to find a website that sells this stuff over here!

P.S. I don't know how I missed yesterday's post! When I read your line about " Are you Mormon because you like Root Beer so much?" I laughed out loud!!!

Glad that you're home safe and sound!!!

Wonder they have any limited edition snacks for the weather here in Singapore. Right now, we could use some "Haze Seasoned Nuts"

Japan is forever famous with their 季節限定 / 期間限定 / whetever限定. Maybe the Japanese love the word 限定 itself. I used to love it too! Makes you just wanna have it! Heheheh!

i guess the writers of the wizard of oz had it right when dorothy said, "there's no place like home.'

Damn. Why don't we get those here!

Welcome back to Tokyo..!I hadn't tried all those sweets, but 'Halloween' one looks good- Though I always pick up 'bitter' ones as I don't like too sweet ones..'Nigatedesu'..What about you?I just wonder:) Good night!

I wonder how that Haagen Dazs would taste spread all over your favourite seasonal BF?

Fantabulous Weekend is almost here! Enjoy.

Hmmm.....not sure if I agree with you!! I'm afraid I'm one of those that shy away from sweets!! I only indulge in such delicacies like once in a blue moon!! It's all about the abs man!! So I guess I'm pretty superficial then!! :-) Enjoy your work day!!

Hmmm... you do have a sweet tooth, don't you? Those snacks look yummy! You just have to do a thousand extra crunches to make up for the calories you'd get from these.

I always cave in to those limited edition haagen daz flavours but they most often than not suck! but I still buy the new ones. why?? poor hubby has to finish them up.

Just make sure you brush your teeth after eating those treats.
You mentioned you went to the dentist, that wasn't for a cavity was it?
I'm not big on sweets but once in a while Lady Godiva calls on me. :-)

You certainly don't have to worry about your weight, you lost so much over the past couple of months. Did you put back on that eleven lbs. that you lost two months ago from stress and working so hard?

mmm cant u send some of the bamboo shots over here? or u just want them for yourself?
envy

Man...I miss the limited edition coffee flavored Kit Kat, but that's only available in spring, I think. I wonder how many different flavors of Kit Kat there are...off hand I remember: wine, dark chocolate, passion fruit, white chocolate and maple syrup, lemon cheesecake, sakura, matcha, strawberry, coffee...and good old regular milk chocolate. Run, Shigeki, run!!!!!!!!! ;;(^_^);;v

At least you get seasons in Japan Shigeki, reason enough to wear different fantabulous clothes at different times of the year. Over here, the weather is either:-

(a) blisteringly hot and humid;or
(b) thunderstorm.

:o(

Yay! The halloween edition is back! I love the colors!

"Halloween Edition" banner is so kawaii!

I LOVE the Halloween edition!!!! :)

Btw, I love the Halloween edition graphics and colours :)

I like your Halloween look.
I went to the store the other day and there aer already Christmast things out. Can you believe it?

Halloween decor, you are way too cool. I absolutely luvvvvvv it. :-)

Hi Hanuman1960,

I am sure there are Japanese stores that sell some of these in Massachusetts. I've actually seen some on Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge. :-)
But I don't know how far you are from there... A little advice would be "Not all of these taste great". really... that's the sad part. You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Colin,

I am not sure but there are regional limited editions as well. :-) I wonder if "Plitz" has a singapore version. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Hafiz Hector,

I think we like anything "limited". That's so true about the world. If it's labeled "limited edition", we go for it. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Naomi,

That's so true. There is no place like home. But I wonder if I move out of Tokyo, what would happen? :-( You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Paul,

If you went to Isetan in KKL, there may be some? I don't know. A wild guess. You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Leigh,

Thank you very much. The halloween kitkats were actually great because you could actually taste Pumpkin. The other things weren't. :-) Strangely, I like anything sweet and bitter. However, when it comes to Chocolate, it has to be bitter just like I am. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Steve,

Seasonal boyfriend? I don't even know what that means. :-) It sticks if you do that, I assume. But you can possibly try that on me :-P You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Ian,

Well, it doesn't mean you couldn't get fantabulous abs and sweets at the same time, does it? If you are a model, this might be different and you have to have perfect abs. :-) You have a fantabnulous week!

HI Mark,

Yes, I do. Well, if I did a thousand crunches a day, that would be so bad. So I am going for the next best thing. 5 extra kilo intense running. It's almost like sex so it's enjoyable and burning off extra calories at the same time. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Tiptup,

Wow, I feel the same about those limited eiditions.. I mean banana caramel stuff I got the other day didn't taste great at all but I have to try every single limited edition. :-) I have no idea why.... I guess the best Haagen daz is green tea as always, I think... You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Maggie,

Yes, doctor. I do that religiously. :-) nop, it wasn't for a cavity. I went there to have my teeth cleaned last month and the hygenist there slipped her hand and scratched my gum with the thing so they had to stop the cleaning and I had to go back last week. It was very painful... I now weigh 58kg = 130lbs when I did that this morning. So I am a little under the usual weight still. But I am feeling better. :-) Thanks for asking. You have a fantabulous week!

Hi NV,

Well, I guess the shipping fees cost more than the sweets themselves. :-( But if you want some, please wire the money. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Hi GaijinGirl,

There are so many limited editions for kitkat, I guess. There are apple, hokkaido milk, and some more around this time of the year. :-) Geez, I still remember how crappy Sakura kitkat was..... I hated it so much. :-) But a homo goes for anything pink, you know... :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Flannery,

Oh, hot and humid is sometimes sexy but if it were all year round, hmmm ... that's gotta be hard. I notice people like in Singapore don't really sweat so much like we do. What's the trick not to sweat so much? I mean I don't wanna sweat so much in the humid summer here in Tokyo. If there is any trick that you can share, let me know. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Yes, people, thanks for noticing my blog color. It's now a halloween edition! Better than last year hopefully since I changed the banner.

Hello, you used to write excellent, but the last several posts have been kinda boringˇK I miss your tremendous writings. Past few posts are just a little out of track! come on!

I'll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

I'm so happy to read this. This is the kind of manual that needs to be given and not the random misinformation that is at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this best doc.

Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

I like what you guys are up also. Such smart work and reporting! Carry on the superb works guys Iˇ¦ve incorporated you guys to my blogroll. I think it'll improve the value of my site :)

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
