I didn't post this to make you say "oh poor shigeki". Well, it might give you some idea what I've been doing here. Another day.... huh... I guess I will try dunkin donuts this morning to see if the 49 cent medium coffee tastes good as it's been on the TV commercials all day long. How powerful TV commercials can be. Also, I've been seeing too much "Massachusetts Governor for....." commercial as well. Um... one of the candidates only plays the opponent attack commercials. I love how entertaining politics can be. :-) Anyway, I'd better stop mumbling. You have a fantabulous Tursday!
German.
You are really getting the chance to see how the other half of the world lives.
Half hour lunch breaks and junk food .
The photos of your food are sooooo different than your ones at home . I find it really weird to know that you are eating that stuff. It's so not you.
What do you do on the week-end?
Shigeki, got your invitation in the last response to my response. Sorry I wasn't able to be there in person for your self-touching session!!!! :)
Hmmm, firefighters!
Week's almost over. Hope you don't work this weekend!!
Happy fantabulousness!
Shigeki-san, I'm so sorry that you're stuck in such a cultural wasteland!!!
And no hunky firefighters to boot!
Hopefully you'll be going home soon!
P.S. At least you had fun by yourself!! ;P
Did anyone south of the equator, despite their incredibly difficult to understand accent ask you infantile questions about seasons or snow like they did in the suburbs of Boston, in an accent you have no trouble understanding? i liked your photos of Boston - must go there some day. I know what you mean about eating by yourself and resorting to shopping mall food. Don't you think food tastes better when you're with someone? (Perhaps even IF the food is crappy?) Well at least you have had some famous clam chowder...
Eeeek, what have you been eating there, Shigeki? They don't look fabulous at all! They are such a farcry from what you had in Australia. But I miss Starbucks! We don't have Starbucks here and now I am craving for a Caramel Frappucino.
I think you'd like it better if your more south, like Pittsburgh, or even more south. The more south you go, the more relaxed and laid back they are--until you reach Atlanta.
Poor Shigeki, this just sounds like hell. I wish you were down here in DC and I could at least give you some ideas about places to go and things to see (and buy you a drink or 5)
Why do you physically have to go to this place and sit in a horrid little room with a laptop anyway? Can't you do this stuff remotely?
TK
Oh poor you Shigeki. No leaf peeping (gasp!), have to eat fake Indian curry (double gasp!!) and no hunky firemen (faints...). Actually the firemen in my country are more of the scrawny types than hunky types.
Oh the torture!!
Shigeki- Yum Yum, I am going to run out to Dunkin Donuts and get a coffee right now. Don't get a donut though, cuz dunkin donut's donuts suck. I walked out of my apartment this morning and found a sign on a utility pole that said "Kerry Healy is a fucking lying CUNT." I New Englanders take their gubernatorial races very seriously :-) Well ... I guess I'll go back to watching the Weather Channel. -gregg
Not sure whether to feel sorry for you or to be happy for you!! Crap Indian food, woken up at god forsaken hour, lunch for half an hour, long meetings...etc., or finishing at 5:30 pm!!
Well at least you get to enjoy New England autumn!! Have fun with the change in foliage! It has been pissing down with rain in Tokyo over the last 2 days!! Autumn must have arrived here eh?
Hi Maggie,
Oh German. Close. :-) I know that these are the things I wouldn't eat but I don't want to starve to death so I had no choice. :-( But I am getting the hell out of here. :-) You have a fantabulous weekend!
Hi Steve,
Oh, too bad. You are so devoted. :-) But that's a nice thing. Nope, I don't have to work this weekend. Well, I made it as a non-work weekend since I told them a lie that I'd leave today. :-) You have a fantabulous weekend!
Hi Hanuman1960,
Well, that's totally okay. I guess I wouldn't experience this if I just went to a touristy place only so I actually appreciate that. :-) I will be heading home pretty soon! You have a fantabulous weekend!
Hi Hyakunincho,
nope, australian people I dealt with didn't ask me a question like that. :-) But it's normal here. I had the similar experience in Kansas how many swords I owned. :-) Boston is a beautiful city indeed especially around this time of the year. Not too cold. Not too hot. :-) Yup, it does taste a lot better if you are with someone even if the food is shitty. You have a fantabulous weekend!
Well, I've been eating something shitty but this has to end today. I am going to one of the most fantabulous seafood restaurants here in New England tonight! Too bad, you don't have Starbucks there. :-( You have a fantabulous weekend!
Hi Mr. Bri,
You know I've never been to the South except for Miami and New Orleans. Relaxing environment is very cool. :-) I'd love that. You have a fantabulous weekend!
Hi Tk,
It was hell indeedy. :-) But I survived somehow. I didn't slash my wrist at all. Some blog visitors to tokiobleu.com offered me dinner or so but I'd been toot tired. :-( Well, 5 drinks would be nice. I will remember that when I go down to DC :-) Well, this was a hands-on training thingy so I had to be here to do things you know. And there is a 13 hour difference between Tokyo and the east coast... so. :-) You have a fantabulous weekend!
Hi Flannery,
I know! :-) I think I did leaf peeping a little bit on my way back to the hotel. :-) That fake indian curry was simply awful. :-( I wonder how they look back in Japan. I've never paid too much attention...but I dated one :-) You have a fantabulous weekend!
Hi Gregg,
Guess what? Since you said it's darn good, I did lunch at Dunkin Donuts today. The coffee was awfully cheap!!! I did get a donut though. :-) You're right. It sucked!! You know I've been checking out this Governor's election thingy and it's pretty interesting there is even a radio station all day long talking about this stuff. I wonder how it turns out this weekend! You have a fantabulous weekend!
Hi Ian,
well, you should feel sorry for me at that time but I am no miserable anymore fortunately. :-) I am so getting out of here. :-) Yes, I will enjoy the last minute of New England since I won't be here tomorrow. I hear it's been raining badly there. I hope it will clear up anytime soon! You have a fantabulous weekend!
Your business trip sounds absolutely horrible. I hope you get to go back home soon.
Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
Good site! I really love how it is simple on my eyes and the data are well written. I am wondering how I could be notified whenever a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your RSS which must do the trick! Have a great day!
I have recently started a site, the information you offer on this site has helped me tremendously. Thank you for all of your time & work.
The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.
Wow! This could be one particular of the most beneficial blogs We have ever arrive across on this subject. Actually Magnificent. I am also a specialist in this topic therefore I can understand your hard work.

I would like to thank you for the efforts you've put in writing this site. I'm hoping the same high-grade website post from you in the upcoming as well. Actually your creative writing skills has encouraged me to get my own website now. Really the blogging is spreading its wings rapidly. Your write up is a good example of it.
Thanks for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research about this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I thGreat ˇV I should definitely pronounce, impressed with your site. I had no trouble navigating through all the tabs and related information ended up being truly easy to do to access. I recently found what I hoped for before you know it at all. Reasonably unusual. Is likely to appreciate it for those who add forums or something, web site theme . a tones way for your client to communicate. Excellent task..
Hello, you used to write wonderful, but the last several posts have been kinda boringˇK I miss your super writings. Past several posts are just a little bit out of track! come on!
I'll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

I havenˇ¦t checked in here for some time since I thought it was getting boring, but the last several posts are great quality so I guess Iˇ¦ll add you back to my everyday bloglist. You deserve it my friend :)
I was just looking for this info for some time. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your site. I wonder what is the lack of Google strategy that don't rank this type of informative web sites in top of the list. Usually the top websites are full of garbage.
I like what you guys are up also. Such smart work and reporting! Keep up the excellent works guys Iˇ¦ve incorporated you guys to my blogroll. I think it'll improve the value of my site :)
Thank you for sharing excellent informations. Your web site is very cool. I'm impressed by the details that youˇ¦ve on this site. It reveals how nicely you understand this subject. Bookmarked this website page, will come back for more articles. You, my pal, ROCK! I found simply the info I already searched everywhere and simply could not come across. What a perfect web-site.
If you're still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you'll know which is right for you.
I really appreciate this post. Iˇ¦ve been looking all over for this! Thank goodness I found it on Bing. You have made my day! Thanks again

Sorry for the huge review, but I'm really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it's the right choice for you.
