The first day of September! So I had been weekend-less for some time. for almost 2 months. Which means I worked 60 days straight even though I am gay. When I brought someone "special" for about 2 hours earlier this evening, my grandmother came to my apartment.
I was so glad we didn't start doing our "private" business immediately. She came here to drop this off. I am sorry if this photo is a little showy but this is the envelope and there was money in it. She gave it to me as my birthday gift. and like her daughter, she kept talking about how bad it is to be single...... Anyway, I am glad to tell you tomorrow is actually my birthday. And a day-off is my present for my B-day. To be honest, I am more excited about the fact it's a day off tomrorow than the fact it's my b-day tomorrow. Really, a birthday after becoming 30 is less important for me. When I turned 30 last year, I totally freaked out. I think going into the 30s was very scary.
Unlike last year, I don't feel a thing about turning 31. Yes, I get older. But I am so comfy about it. My point is to age gracefully. So I gave up on that young fresh delish fantabulous skin tone part already. I am not sad. Even though I want to go easy tomorrow on the very first day-off in months, I was summoned for this little dinner thingy by homo friends. I am not sure how long I can be civil and smile but I will try to act pretty not slutty. You have a fantabulous weekend!

Happy birthday! Trust me, the first 35 years are by far the hardest. It's so much better after 35, so think of your 31st birthday as a way to look forward to the way life will be coming into focus very soon and the happiness that brings.
