You know for whom I am working temporarily these days? A non-attractive lady from South Calorina, U.S.A. Even though it's not an IT job, I find it more demanding and complicated!!! I so miss working in IT.... This temporary boss had to leave for Washington DC for the conference so I had to reserve flights for her earlier last week. Since there is a direct flight from Tokyo to Washington DC by this Japanese airlines, I booked that flight. Her response was "This Japanese airlines is not reliable and their service is crappy. Change it to United" which is totally not true because I find their service better than United. So I booked Tokyo-San Francisco-Chicago-Washington DC via United even though there was a direct flight from SFO to DC or a direct flight from Tokyo to Chicago. The more transfers, the more tiring. :-P I said the flight was full even though there were many seats available. Well, she should be thankful because she could earn more miles than taking the direct flight. I got e-mail from her today and all of the letters in the message were ALL UPPER CASE, and I thought she would be very angry about that weird route. She didn't notice it. BUT THERE IS GOD. One piece of her luggage is missing and the airport staff cannot locate where her luggage is.
Mission accomplished!! I am going to cafe and enjoy this fantabulous boss-less day.

Heh heh heh...way to go S! Now, if you have to book the flight back, send her from DC to Heathrow, then to Cairo, then Johannesburg, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, Taipai, then Tokyo. That'll take about 4 days, and she'll have to walk around naked. Oh, and don't forget to have her change airlines about 3 times.

I can't verify for certain whether JAL is better than United, but I know that JAL is better than QANTAS, even if JAL does not provide eye candy for gay men. It appears that many Americans prefer to fly on American airlines, and given that your delightful boss from South Carolina with the big broad mind and acceptance of different cultures requested United, I am not surprised. I am truly impressed with how you booked her trip. Revenge is a dish best served cold - you have done it in spades. And lost luggage too, which you did not even orchestrate!!! Excellent. My favourite German word is schadenfreude. To see a situation executed with such finesse to cause this feeling of schadenfreude, wow...truly amazing.

She doesn't really know what service is about!! man - she is definitely out of this world! United is crap - and have travelled them a couple of times - even on business class. I really feel sad for her because she is so narrow minded and a bigot as well. Not sure how she managed to climb the corporate ladder!! What a F....king bitch!!

Actually, the airlines she/I was referring to was ANA. JAL is so bad. I hate their services... really. But I find ANA fantabulous. :-) After three days, her luggage is still missing. I am guessing it won't be found. I hope she will be enjoy her flight back to Tokyo via ANA instead of United with too many transfers. :-) You have a fantabulous Tuesday!
