A little more aussie moments than yesterday...

Guess what? I have to work tomorrow, Saturday. Fudge those procrastinators.... damn. So I am majory mad and going to a bar even though I have to get up early tomorrow. I don't post an entry twice a day but I guess I am doing that for today. I am going to get boozed and forget all about the work stress I got in this foreign city. I hope I can get a weekend though. Those are "non-exciting photos" as usual but look at it if you happen to care. :-) I haven't visited blogs I usually visit. sorry. I shall do that later this weekend. Anyway, You have a super wonderful weekend!

More exciting pictures, yay! Hmm, the oysters and mini-bottles did look yum, forget the abs, or just do more cardio and crunches. I hope you are still fine after 24 hours. That fork set was so cute too. ;-)

Good God! I'm writing this and you are not only in the same time zone, same area code, but only about 10 kilometres away from where I live. It is a pity you found the English spoken here momentarily unintelligible. I know that people from Tokyo can travel to Kagoshima, the outer islands of Okinawa, Aomori even, and have no trouble understanding the people there!!! The world of written as well as spoken English is more than that defined by a country with 48 contiguous states and two others. Glad you have had a mind-broadening experience in my home town. I'm sorry (truly) that public transport is not a patch on what I took for granted in Tokyo. All Australians complain about the Internet speeds, poor quality and slow broadband etc...Our equivalent of NTT, Telstra, is run by some US bigshot, Sol Trujillo, and he is one reason to blame for the shoddy state of the Internet here. The food at the fishmarkets is absolutely great - I should go there again soon. Just the weather now to sit outside and drink the same kind of grape juice you so heartily enjoyed.

BTW, Hyakunincho, in Shinjuku, is where I lived with my partner, T. It is the place I have lived in the longest in Japan. I loved it. Sometimes you even heard Japanese spoken on the streets around there. We lived in an old apartment block. My partner was one of the few Japanese who lived in the building. We think our landlady was evading tax, as the rent was collected once a month by hand - cash only. Her husband is a doctor... There was a Korean restaurant in our street that served Korean-style dog soup. There was no mention of it in Japanese, just hangul.

Well Shigeki, great pity you can't stay longer in Sydney. The weather is going to be great for the whole of next week...

As always, you are an excellent tourguide!

And your eating utensils were so cute! :)

I hope that you have some fun this weekend!!! :)

Awww your utensils and chopsticks are sooo cute and knowing that you use it even until now makes you more endearing that I wanna pinch your (ass) cheeks. :-) I am also not used to sitting beside the driver when I take the taxi. I feel so primadonna when I sit at the backseat. :-)

OMG!! You were drinking Jacob's Creek Wine!! That's my favorite!! I particulary like the Grinache/Shiraz they make. It's very yummy!

Enjoy you're promiscuity tonight. Get you a hot Aussie and make him understand Japanese discipline. ;0)

Aussies are so hot....you're so lucky. *sighs*

I wanna have similar stays...take me with u Shikegi...

Where did you buy the eating utensil kit? It is totally fabulous! Like its' owner.

The Sydney Tower is 323 meters, tallest residential tower in the world, tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere
The CN Tower, in Toronto is 553 meters, tallest free-standing structure in the world on land.

They have a restaurant in the tower called 360. My sister and I went there for dinner ages ago and had a few cocktails before and after dinner. They had a guy playing the piano and he was behind us. After a few?? drinks, I saw that he was across the room. WTF.......I thought it was definitely time to go home. Turns out (pardon the pun) it was a revolving restaurant. Whew, I needed a drink after that. :-)

Wow - what a bitch! To work in the weekend?!! :-) I hope you have a good week. This week is a long weekend for us and finally I'm taking a day off! Yes - I'm planning to only go back to work on sunday for a couple of hours and have the rest of the Monday free!

Pictures are cool dude! As always I have enjoyed your travelling/business photos!! I can't keep my eyes of the guy in your picture...slurp...slurp... :-)

OMG. The little fork and spoon combo is adorable!!

Hi T.Kevin,

Well, I am glda you find them exciting. :-) I did some cardios ealrier today/yesterday but I am nowehere close to having fantabulous abs.... I am glad to tell you I didn't get food poisoning from oysters at all! yay. Too many whiskeys did that? :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Hyakunincho,

I didn't know you were in the sydney area. :-) HOw fantabulous. Did you go clubbing this weekend at all? you might have passed me by. who knows. It's weird that when I am in the States, they say I have a thick Japanese accent but when I am here they tell me I have a thick American accent by "ew-ing". I stopped staying "cool" here. :-) But to be fair, when I went to Akita which is the northern part of Japan, I didn't understand what they were trying to say. Tohoku (nothern Eastern) dialect could be very difficult for us to catch, actually. :-) I think I am used to the slow internet connection because I am here at the hotel which is faster than Westin. :-0 yay. Wow, you might even have passed me by when you were in Tokyo since my parents' house is in Shinjuku-ku :-) Anyway, sydney is awesome! You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Hanuman1960,

Thank you very much. It's not a great guide but I hope you get some idea what Sydney is. :-) I think I did have fun/scary weekend at the same time but I am good. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

HI Mark,

Aren't they cute? I know they are very childish considering I am 31 years old but I wanted them so badly. so I bought them for me as my birthday present. :-) II took a taxi back to my hotel again but I didn't sit in front. I don't think I can ever do that. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

HI Jason,

Yeah. Jacob's Creek is great when it's very reasonable and high quality. I guess it's a lot better than having crappy Champagne from France :-) Shiraz of their brand is so rich though I am haivng a lot of vodka sodas lately. :-) I think some "not-so-much" hot aussie put his tongue in my mouth but that's another story. I should have known what was coming... huh... You have a fantabulous week!

Hi NV,

Well, if you are vacationing with me, you might not be able to do touristy thingies a lot but boring things a lot. :-) hehehe. You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Maggie,

Well, since they are so popular among kindergarten kids, they are sold at the closest supermarket actually. Aren't they cute? Did you want me ship them to you? If you want, that would be totally arranged. :-) Wow, a lot of Maggie's wisdoms in there. :-) Thanks. I didn't know Toronto's CN tower was that high. I wanna go up there. Will it be higher than Liberty Building in NYC? I am not sure how tall it is going to be.... hahaha about your story of the rotating restaurant. :-) I hope you didn't get too boozed. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Ian,

Me? Are you calling me a bitch? hehehehe. Wait a minute, I thought it would be the three days weekend over there in Japan. But you only get a day off on Saturday and MOnday? but have to work on Sunday? that's not good. I feel for you. Yup, there are a lot of hotties here. I fellin love with the bartender in 5 seconds. :-) You have a fantabulous week!

Hi Paul,

Yup, it's darn cute, isn't it? I love it even though I don't think I should own something very childish like that. :-) You ahve a fantabulous week!

Kawaii cutlery Shigeki!! That rocks. Yeah, we often sit in the front of the taxi in the UK as well. Taxi drivers here usually talk loads, so if you don't want to talk then you have to sit in the back and try to ignore them .....
