I think I got over the jet lag a few days ago so that's not it. But I go to bed at midnight and get up at 4 in the morning like a grandpa. huh... I didn't expect the technical training would be this long and packed. As you have probably noticed, being in the suburb area is not my favorite thing to do. Anyway, the gate security person told me about this fantabulous seafood restaurant because she went "You've gotta eat seafood in New England even if you are from the country of Sushi." She even yelled at me in a good way. So, I wanted to have seafood at the restaurant she recommended. It was packed and they told me I had to wait for 30 mins to get in. I didn't want the seafood that bad. Then, I went to TGI Friday across the street. It was packed there, too. I pretty much gave up on having dinner at a restaurant when I hit Olive Garden. I mean having Friday dinner at Olive Garden ALONE? nope. That's so sad. Therefore, my dinner for yesterday was this. My favorite American fast food. Since I was so starving and didn't wanna wait, I even had it in my rental car that is not covered by my corporate account. I had it in the Wallmart parking lot when it was deadly dark... While I wanted to enjoy nice dinner at a great place in the city, this made me feel happy even though I am almost certain this could look like the most pathetic dinner on Friday to anybody. My little happy moment in the suburb. Though I am so ready to go back home... You have a fantabulous weekend with decent meals!
September 2006 Archives
I was kinda feeling low as the suburb life is so simple and not interesting.... It's no where close to slashing my wrist yet but you know.... I miss traffic jam, nice food, good transportation system, etc. However, I decided to appreciate what I have here. :-) And I did. Though I am hoping I get to taste New England seafood before heading back to Tokyo. The security guards "ordered" me to do that. :-) I am keeping my fingers crossed. Anyway, you have a super wonderful Thursday!

1... You know I am not much familiar with the east coast probably because I haven't lived on the east coast. I don't know what it is but East Coast is very different from West coast. people wise.... 2...A nice security guard told me to buckle up anytime in Massachussetts. That's probably true. So I am always bukled up. :-)
3...The photo was my lunch. It was obviously sad. Cafeteria food is cafeteria food no matter how fancy it sounds on the menu....
4... Is a pink shirt unacceptable in this conservative suburb city? Or I might have had somehting on my face. Either way, some people looked at me weird today.... huh...
5...I happen to speak to myself a lot when I go on an international biz trip. Like "okay, I am going to the bathroom to make #2." I am glad nobody understands me when I speak Japanese. :-) For the record, I don't say "Fudge you" to this not-so nice person even if I say that in my head...
You have a fantabulous day.I will do my best for my part... though I am so ready to go back home....
So I am here. Working. I am supposed to work like a ver hard working person. huh... I am not ready to do that yet. Today was the easier day and I guess this is going to be the only easier day for the rest of the biz trip. But I will manage. Anyway, I am so wondering what else I can blog about for the rest of the trip. :-) Oh well. Anyway, this is all about "non-exciting scribbles" so I will see how non-exciting it gets. I wish you a pleasant day/night!

I didn't know you could not comment twice in a short time... I changed the config. Thanks. So I am here at the New Tokyo International Airport again. Unfortunately, I am not vacationing this time, either. I am leaving for another project thingy... Unlike last time, this trip is going to be EXTREMELY boring as all I will do is work. Well, things are worse... I will be so lonely because those computer nerds are so very straight and conservative. I don't think I can hang out with them all the time... Besides, I will be stuck in the middle of nowhere for a long time. I hope I won't go insane and admit myself to some mental institution. I think I will have to have a hunky fantabulous imaginary friend or something to talk to. :-) Okay, that will take me to the mental institution for sure. :-) Sadly, I am sure my blog will be a lot more boring than it already is, but I will try to update this thing from the destination. I changed the time zone on this blog since it will be a longer stay. I hope I can survive. Anyway, you have a fantabulous week for me. I will do my part well. :-)
I know it's after midnight but I made it as a Friday post. Anyway, IIt's been awhile since I did this category "To be a good husband". I'd love to be a great husband but then there are things to do. I wish there was a "how to be a great husband" preparatory school or something... Even if I might end up living alone forever, I'd like to have other options available. You have a super fantabulous weekend!

1.... So I had to go and get my driver's license re-issued today because I lost it in Sydney... I took extra time to style my hair and to make my skin look younger this morning. But they used the photo taken last year when I renewed it. they should've told me so.... darn. 2.... I read the usual magazine which is the substitute of Men's Health as we don't have the local version of it which still has "How to turn on your girlfriend" articles while there are many homo readers....Anyway, it's surprising to know that 80% of Japanese are not alcohol tolerant. They get easily drunk after one sip. Genetically speaking, I shouldn't drink much... huh... But Scotch is very tastey around this time of the year...
3.... It's still hot here in Tokyo these days but the autumn is about to start. When I was walking around the imperial palace earlier this afternoon (The photo was taken right near the palace), I saw some guys running without any top on. And I got this sudden urge that I wanted to lick their moist chests as they were super hot. I cannot believe how filthy I always am... Should I go see a psychiatrist?
4.... So I went to the dentist today. (Yes, I am being lazy at work). Are these straight guys turned on when cute young hygienists look at their mouths so closely? And I am very wondering why there isn't a single male hygienist.... I heard you shouldn't give your head after getting dentist thingies done but I am wondering how long you should wait. Not that I have any opportunity to do that anytime soon. *sigh*
You have a damn good day/night!
So the trip was great even if I had to work for the first part of the trip. I didn't get sunburn. Thanks to the SPF50. However, I didn't put any sun protection thingy on my lips. They are extremely dry right now....When you go down under, please make sure you put your sunscreen thingy on your lips as well! Other than that, I don't have a jet lag (of course, not) and I was able to deal with friendly Sydneysiders even if I had some language problems. Anyway, I am going to pretend to work hard for the rest of this afternoon. You have a wonderful Wednesday!
It's been a relaxing day for me. I don't think I go clubbing tonight but go get a few (very few, I swear) drinks at a pub. Though I miss Japan already. I think it's beacuase the local language is a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. However, I am still trying to enjoy. You have a gorgeous day/night!
First of all, I am very glad to tell you my boss gave me a few days off to extend my stay in Sydney so I can do touristy thingies. :-) BTW..... I don't go clubbing three days in a row. Another BTW, I'm very sad to report I am an official "werido" magnet... Sad... Friday night was very scary because I had some episode.... Today, I just got back to my hotel room with less booze and there was no scary moment... Though this is not gonna be great for my skin later today... I am 31 years old so I should start acting like one...Anyway, I think I am going to bed and dissolve the aclohol I consumed. I think I need to be more educated.... Anyway, don't let alcohol drive you crazy. :-) That's all I am saying. You have a fantabulous week!
Guess what? I have to work tomorrow, Saturday. Fudge those procrastinators.... damn. So I am majory mad and going to a bar even though I have to get up early tomorrow. I don't post an entry twice a day but I guess I am doing that for today. I am going to get boozed and forget all about the work stress I got in this foreign city. I hope I can get a weekend though. Those are "non-exciting photos" as usual but look at it if you happen to care. :-) I haven't visited blogs I usually visit. sorry. I shall do that later this weekend. Anyway, You have a super wonderful weekend!
Since I had to work today, I couldn't do much outside so not many photos to share... But I am hoping I take more photos to share. In the mean time, you have a fantabulous weekend!

Do you see what this is? This is where I am. Before landing at the airport, this was the view I was able to see from my seat. When you fly into Sydney, I'd suggest you to take the right window seat. :-) So, yes, I am here in Sydney, Australia. I am in the office working already. I hope my prada suit looks pretty for nerds. They should know what Prada is. :-P BTW, I am not used to Australian English. I mean I tried but I couldn't. It's because English is not my mother tongue, and my brain is draining from my ears. I am not quite sure how I can describe this. But every time I hear a sentene, there is a pause until I understand what it is. There has to be some lag to understand what I just heard. I mean that pause should be 0.03 secs or less but it's not quite exactly as the same as I communicate with Americans. Ergo, I feel strange and weird when I have to talk with them. On a different note, I heard the homo population is huge here in Sydney. I haven't had a chance to go out and see people walk by. But the front desk person at the hotel I am staying was EXTREMELY hot. Anyway, I have to pretend to be a deligent worker today so I guess I won't do anything fun much. Too bad, I cannot use "jet lag" as an excuse so I don't have to go to dinner with my staff as there is only one hour difference between Tokyo and Sydney. Today's post is not much but I should be able to post something different tomorrow. Good day! (I just heard it... and it's very different...)

So I am here at the airport waiting for the flight to board. No, I am not vacationing. I finished working for that weird lady from South Carloina yesterday and I had been re-assigned to IT department today. Three major projects launch immediately... huh... So I am going on a biz trip for this particular project. Unexpectedly, I will be the head of the technical staffers which is the first time for me as I usually work for someone. Though I'd rather be some head for something else if you know what I mean.... Anyway, I have to be at the local site on Thursday and Friday so I could come back to Japan on Saturday but I am guessing I will be "too sick to travel" on Saturday so I can extend my stay and enjoy the mini vacation there since my vacation request was so rejected, See, this shows what a deligent worker I am. Anyway, the round trip ticket is covered by my company of course, so I guess if I decide to do the mini-vacation there, it would be cheper than usual vacation I usually take. You see, I have 21 more extra paid vacation days so I need to use them! I will post something local tomorrow...unless I get too boozed. You have a fantabulous Wednesday. Sigining off from Japan.
so I went to fish store to pick up some fish yesterday (Yes, I sometimes cook by myself even though I am not good at it), I was going to do some Tuna sushi salad. But I couldn't believe what I saw. The price of Tuna was ridiculously expensive. I asked the clerk why. She told me it's getting more expensive because Tuna Sushi is becoming more popular worldwide and tuna is getting scarce. Wow.... On a different note, I will change my blog patter from tomorrow so I will probably blog in the evening before going to bed. I wonder if there is any mood change for that. Anyway, you have a wonderful Tuesday!!

OH YAY, I was finally able to get this!!!! I am over the moon because this is EXTREMELY hard to get recently. It's been in market since July, I guess. This is chewing gum called "Male Scent" but what's so special about this gum is that it exclusively targets dudes from 20s to 50s. You see, male body odor is something unpleasant even if some of you (a.k.a. me) find it arousing. But seriously, you don't want the werid male typical middle aged man smell on you, do ya? This gum has come to rescue. The substance, geraniol, which you can find in roses is in it. What it does is that once it's inside the body, it comes out from sweat glands. That way, you will smell like rose subtly but for sure. I like to smell something subtle. You might think fragrance would be an alternative solution. But we don't really wear that and oversprayed guys are a big turn off. For the record, I don't smell like a middle aged smelly man .... but I bought 5 packs yesterday. Due to the super popularity among guys here, this is so back ordered. This illustrates there are so much more metrosexual guys here in Tokyo, maybe. I was very happy to see them at the closest convenience store! Rose scented Shigeki from now on. :-) How romantic. I can go on a date after eating too much garlic. :-) However, I don't deny that I like to smell something smelly under the SPECIFIC circumstances... You have a fantabulous weekend! I am going to smell like rose today. :-)

So the new prince in the Imperial Family was born yesterday. Regardless of the Japanese Imperial system being so conservative and their luxurious lives being funded by our bloody taxes, many of us are very happy about the news since the succession to the imperial throne is only made to boys. What a nice profession that is....when people ask him a question for what he does, he says "I am the prince".... By the way, I was born in the same hospital in where this new prince was born. It's not that important and I don't act like a prince at all but I thought I'd mention. :-) Anyway, Shinto Shrine is very close to the Emperor's family considering it was believed Emperor's ancestor was Shinto God. Last Sunday, it was the first Sunday of the month. So, as usual, I was summoned by my parents and went to the shrine and church together. This is the photo of the Shinto shrine that we usually go to. When I pray there, I sometimes say "Gee, I so wanna go back home and take a nap" by pretending I religiously pray for something higher.... But mostly, I only thank him/her (I don't know the God's sex..) for letting me live healthy and happily to this date eve if I add some extra every once in a whlie. Like a gorgeous boyfriend... Surprisingly, the local shinto shrine we go to is a very relaxing spot even in the middle of Tokyo, and I feel my dirty soul getting cleansed. (I think it has to be scrubbed vigorously to be pure as I am too filthy.) Anyway, may peace be with you. Happy news from Japan. Happy Thursday!

1...So I bought a new international mobile phone. Because the cell phone technology is not compatible with any other countries unfortunately... The right one is my new cell for international travel. The middle one is for daily use. The left one is given from work. I have a debit/ IC feature embedded on my phone so I can buy things or even board the plane with a phone as a boarding pass, but I can so live without it. Ergo, I get kinda annoyed when a date checks on his phone for new messages in the middle of the conversation. and I am sorry if I was boring...2... There are times I want to become
3... I fell in love with the very first Malaysian astronaut who is going to experiment some traditional Malay tea thingy? Anyway, I'd love to be his husband and wait for his safe return. I am, of course, talking about
the left one I so love him... 4...You know when I feel an earthquake hitting, I always wonder if I am just feeling dizzy first. Then, I look at any hanging object if it is swinging but AC might do that. So I prefer a big earthquake that is obvious because it doesn't give me any doubt wheather I am feeling dizzy. So was there an earthquake in Tokyo last night? or was I feeling dizzy? huh...
You have a gorgeous Wednesday!

It's the time of the year again. Even though it's still humid (well, a lot less humid than it was in August) and hot (30 degrees Clesius 86 degrees Farenheit), the air smells like autumn already. This canned beer sold at any convenience store reminds me the autumn is on its way. This is the beer only sold in Autumn. The taste and aroma is richer than usual beers, and I like it very much. The weird creature in the center is Chinese legendary animal, qilin. The name of the beer company is "Kirin". BTW, there are so many "light" beers out there for less calories. I am not a big fan of those fake beers because I don't want to worry about my weight issue when I drink/ eat something fabulous. I want the best even if it has more calories....And what's up with those people who supersize everything but order a diet coke? Okay, I am being critical... sorry.... Another BTW, I am not on a strict diet or anything. I weighed myself at the gym this morning and it turned out I lost 5 kilos (11 pounds) and now weigh 61 kilos (134lbs). Considering I am only 171cm /5'7" tall, I think it's still okay. Look what corporate stress could do to my body...I lost muscles as well. I need to bulk up...It's a long way to get fantabulous abs... But I can never give up real super great beers like this even if it takes a lot more to get any fantabulous body part... I am hoping I can be all slutty when I go somewhere tropical next time... Seriously...sigh... You have a fantabulous Tuesday!

You know for whom I am working temporarily these days? A non-attractive lady from South Calorina, U.S.A. Even though it's not an IT job, I find it more demanding and complicated!!! I so miss working in IT.... This temporary boss had to leave for Washington DC for the conference so I had to reserve flights for her earlier last week. Since there is a direct flight from Tokyo to Washington DC by this Japanese airlines, I booked that flight. Her response was "This Japanese airlines is not reliable and their service is crappy. Change it to United" which is totally not true because I find their service better than United. So I booked Tokyo-San Francisco-Chicago-Washington DC via United even though there was a direct flight from SFO to DC or a direct flight from Tokyo to Chicago. The more transfers, the more tiring. :-P I said the flight was full even though there were many seats available. Well, she should be thankful because she could earn more miles than taking the direct flight. I got e-mail from her today and all of the letters in the message were ALL UPPER CASE, and I thought she would be very angry about that weird route. She didn't notice it. BUT THERE IS GOD. One piece of her luggage is missing and the airport staff cannot locate where her luggage is. Mission accomplished!! I am going to cafe and enjoy this fantabulous boss-less day. Have a fantabulous week!
This was the very first weekend for me in 2 months. It was interesting. Many might go watch movies on weekends. I did watch a video posted on Google. It was very interesting whether some people may think it's completely BS, it totally blew me away. This is a complicated world for sure... That's all I am saying....

The first day of September! So I had been weekend-less for some time. for almost 2 months. Which means I worked 60 days straight even though I am gay. When I brought someone "special" for about 2 hours earlier this evening, my grandmother came to my apartment.
