Behave gracefully and sensually.

Mon, 28 August 2006

I am not working as an IT guy during weekdays. Since I am becoming less busier with IT stuff, I thought I'd take the vacation but my request got rejected and I am being an executive assistant to this new expat from the States. I hate her. But I pretend to be a pretty secretary in a pretty suit until the mid September. Being able to speak English sometimes gives me more tasks than I hope.... Since I happen to do this thing every once in a while on this blog, I deleted one category and created a new category named "E-learning". This is something I noticed by looking at her behavior the other day... To be honest, it's not that educational but a little entertaining, I hope...It's the last week of August! You have a fantabulous week!

This e-learning seems to benefit waitresses a lot. Why would I bother showing my butt to a woman? If it was a hot waiter, then yes. I think if it was a hot waiter, I'd make HIM adjust my shoes so I can get a good look at his butt.

Shigeki's e-learning's the bestest!

Very educational, Shigeki, thank you! ;-)

And I'm sure you make a very pretty executive assistant in your suit. But hopefully the woman will not try to take advantage of you.

I wish I could find a company that would hire me to be an ex-pat executive. If you were my assistant, I would take you to 3-martini lunches every day! I never thought about how I took my shoes off at the kaiseki places. No one ever tells me when I make a mistake...that's why you SO RULE for giving us these e-lessons!!!!!

OMG, that was SO kewl.Your anime is the best. I loved the yellow lines pointing to the ass area. :-) I have an ex that is so freakin' anal about taking off your footwear at the door. I'm fine with it because I always do so myself but he would insult guests if they didn't.

My girlfriend and I were checking out a house for sale once and when we entered........the floor was filthy. We were both brought up to respect your home but that was a dilemma.. She took hers off but I said fuck it and kept mine on. :-)
Have a wonderful week! :-)

You are just the cutest damn thing! I LOVE these little tutorials that you do. Everytime you do one, I get this urge to travel to Japan, just to try them out. I'm going to have to do that someday...will you be my gracious host, and not let me moon the waitress when I very un-graciously take off my shoes??

Posted by: JaSoN at August 28, 2006 09:59 AM

yes, good. but when i go to an instant boyfriend's place for some 'entertaining' how do I take off my boxer briefs properly?

Posted by: mark at August 28, 2006 10:54 AM

As always, so educational!

I do have one question though.

If there are a lot of people, how are the shoes organized?

Or is it that most restaurants only will hold a small number of customers, so that too many shoes are not a problem?

Please enlighten us Shigeki-san!!! :)

Your post reminds me of how much a 'shoes-off-fascist' I have become. My Japanese partner and I rent an apartment here in Sydney. Our landlord wants to sell, so we have had to have our apartment open for people to come and look at. As T (my partner) and I both take our shoes off at the door, we expect all visitors to follow suit. So when al these people came to see our apartment on Saturday. all but one had their shoes off. An old lady was walking round in shoes - I told her to take her shoes off, but she said she could not walk without them on. So she had to leave. Maybe I was too mean. But I think it was fair to have one rule for everyone.

So can we take a look at that fantabulous ass :P

Mmmm well excuse me that was so funny with all do respect, very intresting too! I would love to be that waiter waitting for cute guys on the door!
Actually i usually wear army boots with laces, that would need to much time bent over...would it cause me trouble?

That's a very cool information piece, Shigeki! Where else would I be able to learn how to take my shoes off properly? Greetings from Barcelona!

Posted by: Mark at August 28, 2006 07:29 PM

I suppose I would be fired if I was hired as the greeting waiter and then couldn't help myself and mounted from behind the guys with the hot asses bent over turning their shoes to face the door... ?

Your blog is SO educational :)

I didn't know that until one of my Japanese teacher let me know that in class last year.I thought that I don't have to do that if I visit familiar friend's ;)
And ..I didn't go to Kanazawa..I made a mistake..I think I should've written that [as if I were in there] or something..Sorry..//Have a cool week!

Thanks.... I know how to be graceful now. I'm so ashamed of myself since I have not done this properly. Typical gaijin isn't? :-)

Hi Will,

Well, if there was a waiter, he should be able to benefit that; however, every guest has a nice ass, you know. :-( Well, if one has a fantabulous ass, s/he should show it off as much as s/he wants! It won't kill ya. You have a fantabulous day!

Hi T.Kevin,

Thank you for finding it educational. But this knowleage is pretty useless, I assume. I think I okay. I put more hair proudct on my hair and try to look sharp. Ew, that woman is way too old for me... You have a fantabulous day!

Hi GaijinGirl,

Well, I told her how to do that but she didn't listen and never was interested in knowing. I'd love to ship her back to where she's from. Well, it's not a big deal if you didn't do that. But it's better if you do it. :-) That's all. You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Maggie,

Thanks very much. :-) Yes, that part has to be VERY emphasized. Wow, I am not sure. When I lived in the States and the Netherlands, I didn't take my shoes off when I entered my place. :-) But I think taking them off is much better. :-) So the 5 second rule can be extended, no? You have a fantabulous day!

Hi JaSoN,

Thanks very much. Well, those e-learning thingies are truly lame but I do it to show some parts of Japan. :-) Yes, Japan can be very interesting for anybody non-Japanese. I will totally check your ass out when you take off your shoes. :-) You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Mark,

Well, there is no specific way to take them off in a Japanese way so however you do it is fine, I guess. :-) But I like a prolonged teasing way to take them off though. You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Hanuman1960,

Good question, Hanuman. Well, usually, they do have lockers for shoes exclusively. As a matter of fact, many homes do have those, too. So when you are done with taking them off, the clerk at the entrance will store your shoes into the locker. That way, you won't be able to see a lot of shoes lying around on the entrace floor. :-) You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Hyakunincho,

I think I am totally opposite. When I lived in the States, I was very hesitant to keep shoes on inside of the house. I felt funny stepping onto the carpet with shoes on. But I got used to it after a week or so. After that, I was totally comfy with shoes on inside of the house. You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Paul,

Unfortunately, I don't have one so there is nothing to see. :-* You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Envy,

I am glad you found it funny. I didn't mean to make it funny but good. :-) I don't think it wouldn't be trouble to take your army boots off with extended time. The waitress/waiter is always happy looking how long you take it. :-) But easier access is recommended. :-) No worries. You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Mark,

Well, it's not a "must-to-do" thing here in Japan, either. I mean not many people do know how to take them off properly but since you can be fantabulous, it's good to know, no? God, I am so envious!!! Have a fantabulous trip in Barcelona. I hate you! You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Steve,

Well, since you don't have any moral, yes, you might be fired immediately. :-))) But what a fantabulous moment if one has to look at a nice ass. Damn.... I want that job actually. You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Leigh,

That's good that your teacher taught you how to. :-) Not many Japanese people know it so it's nice you are more cultured than the average Japanese. :-) You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Ian,

That's good. Since you are a fantabulous expat, I am sure you get opportunities to go to a Japanese restaurant for biz dinner. :-) You shouldn't be ashamed at all since many japanese don't know this, either. No worries! You have a fantabulous day!
