Wishing on the stars mumbling
Fri, 7 July 2006
I've changed my blogging pattern. I used to blog at night but now I do it every morning. Maybe, because my work schedule has changed. (Working from 6 in the morning to 10p.m. with a two hour break.) This seems to be working pretty well, actually, I stil have no life. Yet, I am blogging here by not attending the conference call I was supposed to join. I am sorry but Australian English is so hard to understand for me. I wish they would do Instant Messaging instead of the phone call... Today's excuse not to attend the call was "I have a super immediate task to complete." which is obviously going to Starbucks. I hope I won't be shot to death or anything.... Anyway, I am sorry this is heavier to load. I will keep it short next time. Thank you for visiting my site. You have a fantastic weekend!10:08 AM Vox = Voice | Permalink | Comments (20) | (0)

Ok, first: you don't sound weird at all.
Second: I, too, feel sorry for the fish in the Sea of Japan. I'm sure they had no idea what was coming at them.
Third: Honey, I TOTALLY understand about the whole "missle" thing. WIsh on the stars for everyone that is missle-less...wish hard (heh heh heh).

I really don't know whether stopping the Mang Bong Byong Go (HOW EVER YOU SPELL IT!!! ARGHHH!!) to port will do any good. But the best thing is to go to Starfucks to do a very "important" job. Great Shigeki!!

um. you work from 6am to 10pm with a two hour break? and that is a job that you say you LIKE??? there is nothing in the world that I like enough to do it that much. yikes.

you know, i used to think i can understand other english accents too. all those british and australian TV shows were so easy to understand.
and then, i meet actual british and australian people. then, i started thinking i didn't speak english at all.

i've said before, and i'll say again, you have a lovely voice, and your english is not weird. you have an accent. so, apparently, do i even though it's my first language.
you work too much. 6 am to 10 pm is far too much work. i hope that you're going to get lots of time off for putting in such grotesquely long hours every day. it would be a very cold day in the sahara desert at high noon before i'd work those kind of hours with any regularlity.

And I thought I worked long hours... We do 12-hr shifts at my job, but since there's only 2 people at night, we pretty much stay here the whole time and watch movies, surf the net.. Would have to listen to that when I get home since my coworker's like 4 feet away sheeesh
Yea, feel ya on that one. It's a bit difficult to understand Australian English, I still have a hard time understanding my friend when I talk to him on the phone. Have a good one :)

I agree, Shigeki-san, your voice does not sound weird!
I hope you get that "other missile" too! (Maybe from your fireman friend?)
Happy Star Festival!!!

I think you know that there's the same fairy tale in South korea..no festival there, though. And I was told that that fairy tale originally came from China...so..the three of Asian country share it.
I hope I could do that 'talk' even though I've got poor voice, but I haven't got any mike here..ha-ha;] and..Hope you could make a great choice..anyway,congratulations*

Those are long working ours. I guess I shouldn't complain about my 8 hour day.

Shigeki:
Personally, I think that you have a very sexy voice. Man, you do work very hard. Wow, I complain if Ihave to go in on Saturday, let alone work over 10 hours in a day. Well, I wanted to tell you that I have been reading your posts for some time now. I find you quite intriguing. I am pretty sure that whoever gives you their missle is a very lucky guy. Take care sexy voice.

All I can say is that you have a good weekend....sexy voice or not. I think you have made a point!!! Still find you very intriguing!! :-)

hello shigeki, what a romantic sounding festival! anyway, when I was little, I could never understand my australian cousins. especially over the phone. good thing I can understand them now. 6-10 is super long. that makes me a very lazy girl. well, hope you had fun in your yukata with your friends.
Posted by: tiptup at July 8, 2006 07:23 AM
If you wear your Yukata loosely, your own two, ah, stars will be visible to all, as well!!
Happy Festival.

We hung some bamboo branches at school and wrote our wishes in English. Of course, as much as I was tempted to, I could not write about my wish for "missiles" of the manly kind. I am SO looking forward to escaping the Japanese countryside and resuming "bombardment."

Oh dear, working for 12 hours is something. You must be the Energizer bunny (and yes, in that aspect, too ^_^). I, too, have changed my blogging pattern since I moved here. Too many things to do, too many sites to see, too many people to meet. The loading was worth it, I almost fell off my seat about that missile comin' at ya! :-)

We still love your voice, Shigeki! :-) And may you only get the 'fun' kind of missiles!

Hi Shigeki. Guess what? I am in Japan right now to do some missile testing ;-)

I hate conference calls, ugh. Get me a frapuccino while you're at Starbucks, please. ;-)

Hi JaSoN,
Thank you very much but I am sure my English is a little weird because I was told so. :-( I had some missle thing over the weekend but my whole point is to get it constantly. :-) You have a wonderful week!
Hi Hafiz Hector,
I don't even know how to spell that boat, either. :-) But I guess that president will realize what he intends to do doesn't help him and his country much. :-) Starfucks.. hahaha. You have a wonderful week!
HI Mark,
I didn't say I like my current job. I like what I do which is IT. But as I see it, I get to improve my skills at my work. So I can relax later in my life. :-) So I actually appreciate those opportunities even if I have to work so much. :-) You have a wonderful week.
Hi Raph,
When I worked for a british company, I couldn't understand that this guy wanted "a piece of paper". I couldn't really catch it. They suspected my English speaking abilities and I had to quit in 2 weeks. Geez. :-) You have a wonderful week!
HI Naomi,
Thank you very much. Yes, I do work too much. But it's not like 5 times a week or so. I get to work this much 3-4 times a week. But I think I need to learn a lot before I quit and they let me do that right now. So I appreciate this opportunity. Then, I can relax and take it easy for the next job. :-) You have a wonderful week!
Hi Kris,
Well, programming and QA-ing take a lot of time and I think I have two-three men's tasks right now. But I guess it lets me become a better IT person. So I don't complain a lot. :-) You have a wonderful weeek!
HI Hanuman1960,
Thank you very much. But my English is for sure. :-) Yay, I got the other kind of a missle this weekend and I was so happy for it. :-) You have a wonderful week!
HI Leigh,
I didn't know it was from China though. That's great we have something common. :-) Well, you can do the "talk" whenever you want as long as you have a microphone. :-) Yes, I hope I will make a choice I won't regret. Thanks. YOu have a wonderful week!
HI Cesar,
Yeah, they are definitely long but I get to learn things that I am not familiar with so that I can be better at what I do. :-) You have a wonderful week.
Hi RobFitz,
Welcome to my site. Thank you very much. Yeah, I don't think I'd like to work this much forever but this is the challenging time for me to be good at what I do. So :-) Please don't keep your hopes up as this is all about "non-exciting scribbles". You have a wonderful week!
HI Ian,
Thank you very much. I did have a great weekend actually. I hope you did, too. You have a wonderful week!
Hi Tiptup,
Well, unfortunately, we didn't get to see any stars as it was very cloudy. :-( But it was good. :-) I wish there was a caption closed thingy when they talk over the phone. Or are they going to invent something like that? :-) I am keeping my fingers crossed. :-) You have a wonderful week!
Hi Steve,
Hahahaha. Fortunately, I didn't get too drunk so I was able to manage to wear it as I should. :-) But when I get drunk, I tend to be inappropriate especially when I wear it... You have a wonderful week!
Hi GaijinGirl,
Well, you could write that down on the paper. But I wrote it down as "World Peace" even though it sounds like a straight A brown noser's note. :-) You have a wonderful week!
Hi Mark,
I do what I do. So it's all good. That's great that you are getitng settled and have lots of fun. Did that take that much to load this file? God, i'd better keep it as short as possible. :-( You have a wonderful week!
Hi TK,
Thank you very much. I did get a "hot" kind of missles alright. :-) Thanks for the wish. You have a wonderful week!
Hi Paul,
No, it's not everyday. It's just Mondays through Wednesdays or Thursdays. :-) It's not punishment if I decide to work like this by my choice. I am not to sad about it as I get some benefits. You have a wonderful week!
Hi Anders,
Wow, you are in Japan for missile testing? That's so great. Are you here for business? Wait, those European people get a loooong vacation... But I hope you enjoy your stay in Japan. It's sticky here in Tokyo but it's not as bad as it is supposed to be. :-) You have a wonderful week!
HI Goblinbox,
Have you ever tried Banana Mocha Frapuccino? It's so great. I loved it. :-) YOu have a wonderful week!
