It was still a pretty night.

I left work early yesterday because this was the last day in Tokyo for a screaming-like-a-girl straight friend of mine from Seattle. I fed him decently even though I detest cooking. George, please tell your gay friends I can be a great husband. :-) Well, lie if you don't think so. He took me to this fancy district of Tokyo and went into one of those snobby Italian shops. He told me I could get one item from this shop as a "thank you". I was so over the moon. He definitely knows how to entertain a homo in a non-sexual way. So I got this pretty overpriced shirt. I took him to the airport, and he hugged me. (Please, somebody, tell me how to hug a straight dude appropriately. I always feel nervous.) I hope his second visit was good. BTW, did I tell I'd been seeing this guy for some time? Anyway, he is a fire fighter. (I am sorry to ruin your fantasy but he is not so manly.) He said he wouldn't get off *blush* until midnight so he told me to meet up "Tuesday Night. 1a.m.". I know it's pretty late but seeing him is rewarding. So I wore this pretty shirt and went to where we were supposed to meet. He didn't show up... It was 1:30a.m. when I decided to call him. He was like "What? Aren't we meeting tomorrow?" Then it occurred to me I misunderstood him. He meant Tuesday night. 1a.m. = 1a.m. on Wednesday while I thought it would be 1a.m. on Tuesday. Don't fire fighters use military time like 0100??? So I waited for nothing by feeling pretty in a pretty shirt. I walked back home with some skipping because I still felt pretty in this shirt. Yeah, crap happens. Those who date night shift people, please make sure which day it is precisely or meet her/him in a day time :-) You have a fantabulous Tuesday!

What? How could you forget to mention you are dating a fire fighter? Details please! Details!

Hmmm, firefighters...

Nice shirt -- perfect for slowly removing!

I think the only thing to remember when hugging breeder guys is to avoid pressing your crotch into theirs.

Happy fantabulousness!

That's a beautiful shirt!

As for hugging straight guys, I find it awkward too. I hug like a girl so can't give you any advice :-(

GBD x

Grrrrrr. I love a man in a uniform! Come on baby, light my fire!!!!!! Well, as long as you didn't get too sweaty in it, I'd say wear your pretty new shirt again. I'd say it's a more than decent reward for putting up with smelly poops in your shower!!!!!! ;D

Hmm.... :-) Nice surprise that you're dating again! Hope this last.....and you look pretty cute in this shirt...I just had a mental view of you in this shirt...sexy..yummy. Too bad you're now dating and I have to strike you off my book....hahahahah just joking. You have a good date then!

Hi Shigeki, I'm on holiday and we don't allow computers. I'm at the local library checking my e-mail and had to check in on you . ( I miss your stories). I had a "firefighter" boyfriend once but he failed to put out my fire and we ended up fighting. :) haha.

Tips For Hugging (Straight? Men)

1. Don't hug too long. Men should hug for a maximum of three seconds. The only exception to this is if someone has recently died ... in your arms. A fresh corpse can be hugged long enough to place him gently on the sidewalk.

2. Don't nuzzle. Lightly nibbling the other man's neck or earlobe is expressly forbidden, unless you are a cannibal.

3. Allow large men to crush your ribcage. Fat guys often dole out punishing, vise-like hugs, lifting you from the ground and squeezing you until you fart ... out your ears.

4. Deliver two pats on the back if things get weird. A hug followed by two pats on the back is a code, representing the two testicles. It says, "I love you, but not in the queer way. I've still got both my yams."

5. Do not hug another man from behind. The only exception is if you are performing anal sex on him. But even then, you know, it's kind of overly vulnerable.

So....has your firefighter let you see his hose yet? :P

HI Cesar,

Well, it's not really worth mentioning details. He is a firefighter but he is not butch at all. I am not sure where this is going but I will see. :-) You have a wonderful day!

Hi Steve,

You know I thought it would be really something to date one of those but it turns out he is just a human being. :-) Not that I am complaining. So pecs-pecs contact is allowed? :-) Thanks for the tip. You have a wonderful day!

Hi GayBoyDiary,

yes, I totally fell in love when I saw it. :-) I am sure straight dudes don't feel awkward like we do but I do understand your dilemma. :-) You have a wonderful day!

Hi GaijinGirl,

Well, unfortunately, he is not allowed to wear a uniform when he is off duty so my sexual fantasy is not going to be fullfilled. :-( I didn't have a date today/yesterday so that I didn't have to look pretty :-( You have a wonderful day!

Hi Ian,

I am not sure if this is going to be very dreamy dating but it's too early to tell so I will keep yo uposted. hahaha. I am just the average guy so your gym boy should be a lot hotter. :-) go and make a move! You have wonderful day!

Hi Maggie,

Wow, thanks for taking your time to visit this non-exciting blog while you are on vacation. I hope your vacation has been fantabulous! A fresh corpse.... geez. I've never seen that expression before. :-) Hahaha. Your tips are so great. That two pat thingy? I totally do that to end the awkward moment. But you didn't mention where your face should be located when you do that. Should my cheek touch his? Or should I stay away from it as much as possible? I don't mind side face contact but they do, don't they? I mean that's the most thing I am worried every time. :-) You have a wonderful vacation!

Hi Hanuman1960,

Oh yes, his hose is very functional and I was truly glad to see it. Not that I am picky or anything... :-) You have a wonderful day!

Did your straight friend do that horrid one-armed hug? I hate that.
