I went to this sports bar and watched the baseball game. It went into a play off. It ended in a draw at 10:55p.m. Damn it. But good game. Really a good game. Another week has started. I hope you had a great weekend. I did have a nice half day off yesterday... You have a fantabulous day!
I think "nice homo" would equal doing "nice things" :)
As usual, I really enjoy your travel updates -- you should write a tour guide book.
Happy Monday!
Ok, this just proves my point that you're HOT, man. I mean, even though you're on vacation, and it was late, you STILL manage to find a man.
Geez...I want to learn your WAYS, Sensei!
I am glad you were able to get out of work for a while and have some fun. Even though you didn't do some nice things with the guy it sounds like you still had fun.
Hopefully you will be able to go back home soon.
Thank you for this virtual tour of Osaka (not to mention the gay place you mentioned), like you said, it is nice to see the other side of the world. Sounds like you had fun - with the nice homo and the crocth-grabbing. LOL.
WOnderful slide show and comments as usual, Shigeki! Thank you! And see, fun can be had without 'nice things.' ;-)
I too am surprised that you didn't get to do "nice things"! :(
You would think that that would be the primary reason for getting together with someone you don't know! :)
I'm glad that you did end up having some fun over the weekend! Schedule a vacation soon!!! :)
Interesting thing about Kansai and Osaka in particular is how direct the folks there are.
In Tokyo market area, the merchants generally will not try to get my attention. If anything, they seem to avoid having to deal with me. I've always chalked that up to Japanese shyness or perhaps slight apprehension of dealing with foreigners.
Osaka is a totally different story however. In the market areas there, the shop keepers would go out of thier way to get my attention (even if they didn't speak English) - they came up to me trying to sell thier wares Oi, oniisan... (something in Kansai-ben that probably means 'why dontcha buy some fresh fish')...
With my limited knowledge of Japanese, I could only shrug and say Nihongo ga wakarahen dayo... suman. (Sorry, I don't understand!)
no nice things?!! :D still nice that you had a nice time even with that brutal schedule of yours. hope it lightens up soon!
HI Steve,
To be honest, I was way tired to do nice things together but he didn't seem to be interested in doing that with me anyway. :-( Thanks but if I wrote a tour guide, it would be very boring as I don't focus on touristy stuff much. :-) You have a fantabulous day!
Hi JaSoN,
I don't think it proves anything... I mean I was able to meet this guy who was nice enough to show me around the homo town of Osaka. :-) THat's it. um.. but I am not on my vacation. I am on a biz trip. I wish I were on vacation though.... You have a fantabulous day!
Hi Cesar,
Yeah, I try to enjoy as much as possible even if it is a biz trip. I did have fun a lot but I think I tend to sleep less when I am on a biz trip. That ain't gonna help my skin... I mean I am not in the 20s anymore. :-( You have a fantabulous day!
Hi Mark,
Well, it wasn't that really virtual tour like yours. :-) But thanks. :-) You know what I have realized? I miss Tokyo when I come here even though I don't miss it much when I am on a biz trip in the States. That's kinda weird. :-) You have a fantabulous day!
Hi T.Kevin,
Thanks very much. Well, I think it would be more interesting if I could have had nice things together. :-) But I was way too tired... You have a fantabulous day!
Hi Hanuman1960,
You were? huh.... I am not a sexual horny stud like some people. I hope it doesn't mean I will have to have Viagra or anything though. I hope I can schedule a vacation soon but it is likely I couldn't get one anytime soon. You have a fantabulous day!
Hi Seekeronos,
Yeah. I think They do really talk about stuff that pops in their head without any hesitation. The surprising thingy is Kyoto is very opposite even though it's 30 mins away from Osaka. I reallly really miss Tokyo when I come here. That's the sad thing. Oh by the way, I don't speak Osaka dialect but I think it should be "wakarahen" sounds right. :-) You have a fantabulous day!
Hi TipTup,
No nice things, nope. :-) But I managed to take care of my needs alone if you know what I mean. :-) You have a fantabulous day!
hi,
stumbled upon your blog, understand that you're residing in Osaka?
will be visiting it in sep, can you advise me more on where to check out the local scene etc?
will be there for 2nights.
cheers!
