Misery loves company

Wed, 21 June 2006

I am going to get boozed tonight for the first time in days!!!! I got off the medication finally and my doctor told me yesterday I am ready for adult beverages. At 5p.m. today, my stomach will start to hurt according to the plan and I will act sick. I know I have a lot of assignments to complete but I need this special early leave once in a while. I am going to meet homo friends and get boozed. I made an instructional presentation for how to make a more complicated chopstick rest spot. But I didn't save the file..... Huh.... where did it go? :-( Instead, I present you this neo-Japanese instructional thingy. I wish you a pleasant Wednesday! Ta-ta-.

Ah as usual, your little flash presentations are most informative and amusing!

Hooray for getting boozed up! Just be sure your friends look after you, since you are just getting off the meds and there may be still some in your system. Must be careful! Have a fantabulous evening and may no North Korean missiles go near you.

I am at this moment having a refreshing gin&tonic (my first of the summer season) and being thankful that I just got back from a cycling class at the gym and am not fat and incontinent like a certain person we both know about.

What was that hangover cure again?

All you need is a golden chair with lots of lace and feathers here and there, lots of metallic and sparkling stuff, lots of sequeens, as long as it is grand no matter how you sit on it, you'll definately be the most graceful of them all.

Love the part you *poke poke* the person infront of you. Come to think of it, I did that before. Actually someone did that to me before. Ouch!

HAHAAHAHA... I love it! Gives me goose bumps thinking of all the times I had to sit like that during assembly in school ahahahaha...

That's very useful! I never thought of using two cushions! Makes sense, I suppose. Have a fab day! GB

I look forward to one of your fantabulous e-learning seminars on keeping one's legs pulled to one's chest or raised in the air while laying on one's back...

Hmmm, sitting Japanese style seems it could also be useful if there is someone facing you, standing...

Careful with the booze -- drink only with HOT guys!

Ah Shigeki-San! Another life lesson to take to heart!!

Domo-Arigato!!!!! :)

Am trying to learn how to sit the Japanese way at home (trying to be cultured since I'm in Japan, I might as well learn some Japanese culture!) and yes - it has been a challenge to sit in this position for more than 5 minutes. The legs go to sleep and after awhile the pins and needles appears in a very sharp pain. Wosh! and I'm back onto the chair again!

Very informative slides here you have! You never cease to amaze me... why are you working in IT-you should be in advertising or marketing! :-) Have a great boozing day!

I hope you had fun drinking with your homo friends.

So when you sit in this way and if a cute guy is sitting in front of you, is it okay to poke him with something else?

Posted by: Cesar at June 21, 2006 11:48 PM

Funny yet instructional. I will remember that when I have to sit like that. Which probably is never.... :)

Posted by: Freddie at June 22, 2006 12:26 AM

I can barely manage to sit for more than an hour cross-legged (as that seems to be another, less formal way of sitting on the floor in Japan)... much less sitting in the "seiza" style.

But should I ever need to sit "seiza" again, I will keep your neo-Japanese instructional thingy in mind!

Did you ever see the film 'The Funeral' by the late director Juzo Itami? If so, there is a scene in it where, at the funeral, the family are kneeling, formal style in front of the altar while the priest chants sutras, and everyone is squirming since their feet are falling asleep and/or in pain. It's a great movie overall. maybe not as good as 'Tampopo', though....

hope you didn't get a hangover!

Hi Raph,

Thank you very much. I think it had been awhile since I did this last time. I will do something like this when I come up with another idea. :-) You have a fantabulous day!

Hi TK,

Thank you very much. :-) I did go easy last night. I didn't feel sick at all. How great is that! :-) Gin&tonic is very great and I am glad you are having a fantabulous like unlike a certain person. :-) The cure for hangover is "Amino Acid" which you could get at a local GNC store in your country. :-) It really does work!!! You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Hafiz Hector,

Hehehehe. I wish I could. But since we don't have that or it hasn't been invented, we have to go for the next best thing, no? :-) I always do that to my friend when I go to temple or something. :-) It's at least the interesting part of the boring worship thingy. You have a fantabulous day!

HI AJ,

I am glad you liked it. :-) You had to do that in school? Wow, what school did you go to? I am sorry you didn't enjoy it but the worst part is over, no? You have a fantabulous day!

HI GayBoyDiary,

IT could be useful even if you don't have many opportunities to do this. :-) You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Mark,

Yes, it's early for me since I always go home after 10p.m. or so. :-( You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Steve,

hehehe, that's not a neo-japanese thingy, is it? You are very naughty but I already know that. :-) I haven't given my head in that position before. Maybe, I should? You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Hanuman1960,

I don't think it's a great lesson to learn but it's something. :-) Do-itashimashite! (you're welcome!) You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Ian,

You are trying to learn it at your home? wow, I am impressed. I've never sat like that at my home before :-) Yes, chairs are better. :-) Well, I work in IT because it pays my rent and stuff. And my graphic design skill is very basic so I don't think I could work in Marketing or advertising...I am not qualified. Although this presentation made by Flash requires some basic scripting (programming) skills. :-) You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Cesar,

Thank you. I did have fun a lot with homos. :-) hahaha. Well, you could do that as long as the guy in front of you is willing to service you. :-) You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Freddie,

Thankee. :-) Well, I am sure the chance is rare but you never know. You might wanna come over to Japan once in your life. When you do, please apply this method :-) You have a fantabulous day!

HI Seekeronos,

I totally understand. It requires practice. Practice makes it perfect. :-) I am glad this instructional thingy is acutally somehow instructional. :-) You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Fashmagslag,

No, I haven't seen that movie yet. But I can totally imagine what the scene would be like. It does happen. It's totally difficult for some people when they have to sit like that and keep their faces sad. :-) I barely get a hangover. :-) I am fantabulous today. Thanks! You have a fnatabulous day!
