Don't arrest me for that.

It's supposed to be raining a lot these days but it isn't. So Japanese Self Defence Force (Well, technically, we cannot have any military according to the constitution.)....Anyway, they should be able to monitor the missle coming from North Korea clearly if N. Korea decides to launch it today. Okay, that was lame. I know they'd use radars for that. I am not sure where they aim the missle at. But let's hope anyone won't be killed. Tokyo could be the target but what can I do? :-) I'd love to have another kind of a missle coming at me instead if you know what I mean. Today, I picked up a newspaper and a bottle of water at am/pm convenience store. It only cost 300 Yen or so. I had no small change in my wallet. So I gave it to the am/pm guy an 10000 Yen bill. I am supposed to get 9700 Yen in change, right? Instead, I got 14700 Yen. yup, I think the guy was supposed to give me one 5000 Yen Bill, four 1000 Yen bills and some coins. He mixed the 5000 yen bill up with 10000 Yen's. It means I didn't pay for the paper and water. I got some incentive. I didn't realize it until I came to work. I felt so guilty, but I don't wanna be late at work, either. What would you do if you were in my situation? Me? I donated 3000 Yen for the foster parenting thingy organization for dogs and spent 2000 Yen for lunch.... I hope I won't be arrested. :-( You have a fantabulous crime-less day!

2000 for lunch? Thats like 4 beef bowls at Yoshi-gyuu! How much did you actually eat dude? Hahah. Actually same thing happened to me at Family Mart once before. So my friend and I just went to the next nearest Family Mart and spent the "extra" money. So in a way, we did "return" it right? Hahahah

well i know nothing about how much money that actually is. and i'm too effing tired to be bothered looking it up. but surely that was enough money to get into a bath-house rigith? (and i mean the kind with 'fun" not the traditional japanese ones). if so then you should gone there and had as many missiles as possible.

Still curious why Korea would want to toss missiles. I mean, it's not like they have so much money to throw around. Wasn't there a famine recently over there?

Paul

What can you do? I found $20 on the sidewalk, and within a few weeks was robbed of $120 when someone brooke in my locker at the gym. But that's just me. Don't worry about it!

As for Korea, that guy is just crazy. It's scary when short megalomaniacs get their stubby little fingers on powerful weapons.

Try to have a wonderful day anway!

You're h*rny Shigeki! Pipe organs! Missiles coming at you! ;-)

I think you did well donating some money to a charity.

GB

It was lucky for you, wasn't it..?The guy might be blamed for that,though;-)
The other day I picked up 500 yen in a washing machine after I got all my laundry,so I felt guilty, but I thought like, 'Maybe it's a present of an elf(?) of the washing machine..so it would be all right,,,' ha-ha.
It's hot and humid these days,so please take care of your health~

I found 1,000 yen in the parking lot near city hall earlier in the year. I knew if I tried to turn it in, no one would get their money back. They probably didn't even know they lost it...so I donated it to the tsunami orphans when I went to Phi Phi island.

I think some of the extra change makes up for your being pickpocketed in Amsterdam ;D

Heh... slapping a $100 USD bill down for a $3 Snapple and a newspaper, that would get you a dirty look from some clerks in NYC.

But even better is walking out of the store with the goodies and $47 extra. Although that kind of blows my mind how the clerk could make such an error.

Perhaps this is because in the US, a similar transaction would be like changing the $100 bill and instead of getting the expected 4x $20, 1x $10, and assorted small bills for the remaining $7, and getting an extra $20 sorted into the mix. I guess it is because $50 bills are usually not as routinely circulated as the 5000 JPY bills; the $20 USD is the "staple" currency note, so that getting an extra $50 back in the USA for such a transaction would be highly conspicuous.

Who knows, though... with inflation threatening to take off like a missile because of Bakabon Bush's mishandling of government, we will soon be using the $50 as the staple currency note.

As for the JDSF, do you think the Japanese government be seeking to re-do its constitution to do away with the non-military clause? That must be kind of a thorny issue for the government, since it seems like many people (inside Japan, and neighbours like China and the Koreas) might be opposed to Japan's rebuilding a blue-water navy and/or a nuclear deterrent.

In the longer run, it might help stabilise the region as American forces grow less able to support themselves in all these overseas "adventures", and eventually face retrenchment back to the continental US.

Thanks for that image of "missiles" bombarding your, ah, battle field :)

How about Dominic's "Flight 815" coming at ya? Y'know what I mean. :-) Don't you have all the treats in the world today? :-)

I hope that North Korea comes to their senses! We don't want to lose you! :)

As far as the situation concerning the extra change, if you couldn't go back to the store, than giving it to charity was the right thing to do! :)

North Korea is just stupidly crazy-like the rest of the evil of axis countries! I don't necessarily support Bush's policies but here I can't agree less about North Korea. The Chinese government just need to tame him but they are not doing that either....so I'm confused as to what are their political plans are!

Anwyay, I would have gone back to the am/pm shop and return the extra money. The poor guy would be cursing and swearing and because he was working on the till, he may have to put the same amount back into the machine. Imagine a lowly paid guy going home without dinner/lunch! Feeling guilty yet? :-) Anyway what is done is done! so no point looking at the past....

Have a good day! :-)

hmm...next time take what is not yours. to be stolen or robbed is not a good feeling. though u had spent it, perhaps u can repay him. it means a lot to him for earning small earnings. it would make us a better place for everyone doing good deeds. ;)

Hi Hafiz Hector,

Yes, 2000 Yen for lunch. I went to this fancy restaurant and had a nice meal there. :-) Yes, you did nice thing to return it. You are a good boy. :-) You have a pleasant day!

Hi Mark,

It is about 97.26 CAD as I looked it up now. Well, it didn't even cross my mind. Thanks for the suggestiong but I went to have a nice meal instead. :-) Though I don't frequently go to a bath house. :-) You have a pleasant day!

Hi Paul,

I think they want to get citizens' attention to it? There are so many assumptions yet we don't know what they really intend to do. Mysterious even though we are filled with so much information.... You have a pleasant day!

Hi T.Kevin,

You got robbed at the gym? That's so horrible. You did lock, right? I am so sorry to hear it. I hope you didn't have to go through all the trouble like I did. Let's hope this world will be more peaceful than it currenetly is. :-) You have a pleasant day!

HI Gayboydiary,

Yes, I am. Can't you tell? I think I am hitting another puberty or something. I think I wanted to feel less guilty so I did that. :-) You have a pleasant day!

Hi Leigh,

Yes, I was pretty lucky. That's one way to put it. :-) The way you thought of the reward of 500 Yen is so cute. :-) That's very adorable. Is it true that 500 Yen Coin (old one) is very similar to a coin used in South Korea? You have a pleasant day!

Hi GaijinGirl,

That's very good for you. I am proud of you. :-) It's interesting how people drop money... Yes, that's a good way to put it. I hope I won't be pickpocketed anymore... huh.. that was one of the awful moments in this year. You have a pleasant day!

Hi Seekeronos,

I think it's a great thing in Japan. If I say "Excuse me" and give it that big bill, they normally wouldn't give me a bad look even if they think "Oh hell" inside. :-) Well, the new design bills came like last year and the color is somewhat similar between 5000 Yen Bill and 10000 Yen Bill but it doesn't mean he couldn't have noticed.... Yes, the governing political party is trying to make it work. And surprisingly, almost a half of Japanese think it's a way to go. However, we have already spent so much tax money to help US military re-organize their structure in Asia Pacific region so I hope for some time Americans would keep the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty as it is. You have a pleasant day!

Hi Steve,

Your welcome very much. See, I could be a bottom depending on the condition. :-) You have a pleasant day!

Hi Mark,

I so love him. Why is he so pretty even if he says "Bloody" so many times? I'd love to hug him once. :-) Thanks for the photo! You have a pleasant day!

Hi Hanuman,

Let's hope so. :-) I am sure their missle's navigation is not as accurate as they would like it to be. (hopefully) so it will hit the middle of no where if they launch it. :-) I am glad somebody agreeed that it wasn't totally wrong to do that. :-) You have a pleasnt day!

Hi Ian,

Well, I don't think I am totally upset or opinionated on that missle thingy. But their kidnapping is unbelievable. I hope the world will become a better place :-) You would have? I don't think he has to put the same amount back into the machine as the company pays for it. Really. I've done the similar mistake when I was part-timing at Seibu Department store on a summer break. :-) You have a pleasant day!

HI Cibertronic,

Welcome to my site! Yay for another visitor from Malaysia! um... your comment made me feel guilty again. If I had noticed it at the cashier, I'd probably say that but since I left. :-) I will keep that in my mind though. You have a pleasant day!

Brilliant post. Just found it on AOL. tks 4 the useful information. Keep up the great work :)

Sorry for the huge review, but I'm really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it's the right choice for you.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
