Fri, 14 April 2006
It had been very gloomy over the last few days but the sun is back here in Tokyo! Yay. It's very spring a little chilly but spring. :-) I am going to get boozed a lot tonight so I won't be able to blog tonight. Instead, I am blogging with a pointless topic with a bad sound quality... Well, part of the quality is ruined by my voice tone for sure...But the other ruining part is that the recorder isn't great... I apologize for the crappy quality. I am sorry if this takes longer to load... It's longer mumbling.... I will make it brief next time when I do this thing. Anyway, you have a fantabulous weekend! I definitely shall!01:16 PM Vox = Voice | Permalink | Comments (16) | (0)

Hi my name is Shigeki, let me spell that:
S as in "sex"
H as in "homo"
I as in "Interior Designer"
G as in "glory hole"
E as in "Extasy"
K as in "ketamine, yes I know it's a horse tranquelizer but damn it's fun"
I as in "I'll have another martini."
Oh was that too gay?
-- Mark (M as in "Mary!!!", A as in "asshole - where we fuck", R as in "randy, horny and always read y for sex" K as in "Ketamine, which I tried once at the Barn and finally trance/house made sense to me")

Really? People sometimes have trouble with it? The only Japanese names I've heard mispronounced are usually men's names with 'suke' in them, like Daisuke, Keinosuke, Shinsuke, etc. I've heard people say the 'suke' as 'sooki' instead of 'ske'. Oh well....hot voice, btw. have a good weekend :)

Wow, I've really been mispronouncing your name. When I've been saying Shigeki has sounded more like, "Wow, I can't wait to see a picture of his abs and pecs!"

I got pretty boozed tonight, too. Thank you so much for your Amino Acid hangover prevention cure. I hope you had a good time getting shitfaced!

You're so cute.

Shigeki, try this out the next time you need to phonetically spell out your name on the phone (it will make you sound like you had done a stint in the US Army! )
S as in "Sierra"
H as in "Hotel"
I as in "India"
G as in "Golf"
E as in "Echo"
K as in "Kilo"
I as in "India"
Sure it is boring on the surface, but ya never know who might actually be impressed by something mundane like this. Plus, it sounds über butch.
Have a Happy Easter (if you celebrate that at all).

Aw Shigeki, cute (and yes, butch) as usual. Actually, I have used some girls' names when spelling my name for people on that phone and thought that seemed homo. As you were spelling, I was thinking to myself' he's using only boys' names... how butch! *sigh* Maybe we are too sensitive?

Thank's for the pronunciation of your name. Not being familiar with Japanese, I totally appreciate it. As for your wanting to sound "straight", I really couldn't tell the difference. What does "straight' sound like, especially with an accent?
BTW, Thanks for telling me I could use the "F" word on your blog but............I feel like someone who invited themselves to a dinner party and wouldn't feel right swearing at the dinner table with a bunch of strangers. It just wouldn't leave a good impression, you know what I mean?

That's a cute one, Shigeki. Missed ya during my holiday; good thing I only missed two entries including this one. :-) Hear from you soon!

Hi Enviroboi,
Oh really? huh... My weekend was alright but it could have been better. :-( I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Good day!
Hi LaneO,
It was? Thanks. You have a good day!
HI Leigh,
My voice gave you shiver??? I hope it wasn't bad at all. Well, you got used to my voice now so that's good, no? You have a good day!
Hi Hanuman,
cute? really. :-) You know I was going to go for Fantabulous but then it was too long to spell so I didn't do that. :-) You have a great day!
Hi Mark,
Hahaha. that's the gayest spelling way anyone could come up with. But I thought martinis were masculine and straight... :-) Thanks for sharing, Mark but I am not gonna use that. :-) You have a good day!
Hi Fashmagslag,
Yeah, a lot of people cannot pronounce my name right when they see it. But that's okay. I always say "Yeah, something like that but it's Japanese so it's okay for you not to pronounce it right" :-) You have a good day!
Hi Steve,
Okay, what you said there wasn't really understandable. :-) When did I say I have abs? I don't have a belly but I am going to need wait more til they appear on me. Darn it. You have a good day!
Hi GaijinGirl,
I had a great time to get boozed. I think I finished 8 glasses of wine and 2 beers. It was fantabulous as it was all free. :-) I drink more when it's free. :-) You have a good day!
Hi Goblinbox,
Thanks. I didn't mean to sound cute though... Good day!
Hi Seekeronos,
There, an expert of Nato phonetic alphabet. That's really nice of you to share it with me. I think I will switch to the way you desribed. :-) I sound more butch? :-) Unfortuantely, we don't practice Catholicism here in Japan so it was another Friday.... You have a great day!
Hi T. Kevin,
I cannot understand if one could sound "cute" and "butch" at the same time.... That's weird, isn't it? I think yours is a lot gayer than mine. :-) I think you are gayer than I am. Thanks for the verification. :-) hahaha. You have a good day!
Hi Maggie,
No problem. Well, I am sure I have some gay quality here and there when I talk so I would love to sound "oh boring so NFL watching" straight dude. But that's impossible... I know what you mean you don't cuss in public. Good girl :-) You have a great day!
Hi James,
A video blog? Well, I think it's going to be a lot heavier to load the video so I don't think I wanna do that and I'd be freaking nervous if I did that. :-P Thanks for the suggestion but next. :-) You have a good day!
Hi Paul,
Do I? But I don't hate my name. :-) You have a great day!
HI Mark,
You are back! I hope you had a great trip there. I am so jealous but you totally deserved it considering what you had been dealing with. I hope you are more motivated for your work! good day!
