Not so blue.. unfortunately.

Thu, 16 March 2006

I made sure you could comment on this one. Thanks, GaijinGirl for pointing that out! Aloha-. I am here in Hawaii right now. IT's going to be evening soon. It's funny I left Japan at 9p.m. on Wednesday but it's still 4p.m. Wednesday here. :-) I always come here to Hawaii at least once a year. It's really great. Even though Spring was on its way in Tokyo, it had been rather cold since Monday... I had to be somewhere tropical. It's nice to be able to wear just a sleeveless shirt and short pants. It's not slutty. Many straight dudes wear the same things. :-) I jumped in to the summer. While the weather forecast didn't look great in Hawaii, it's not raining badly as I am always blessed by the weather. Not quite blue Hawaii though :-) Gray but at least some sunshine. On the first day in Hawaii, I usually go shopping as I am a shopping whore. But it's miracle! I haven't gone shopping yet. But my friend and I went body-surfing. The water wasn't as cold as I thought it would be. I have this new surfing upper suit. It fits perfectly. I wear it because I don't have awesome abs. While my abs have gotten better, you cannot really see I have abs through my surfing suit. But this body surfing dude who was near us had awesome abs and he wore the surfing suit but I could actually see his six packs through it. I hate him. I so hate him. Anyway, I body-surfed for about 3 hours but since I am still adjusting my body clock, it was enough. It was definitely fantabulous even though there was beach sand in butt cleavage... ugh. :-) Anyway, I will make some photo thingy tomorrow. I am going to take a nap and slut myself up for the night. yay. You have a wonderful day!

ALOHA!!!!!!!! Iiii naaaaaa! I wish I were in Hawai'i with you. If you're in Honolulu, please visit Yama's Fish Market on King Street (I think)...my friend Brian owns it, and they make some GOOOOOOOOOD kalua pig. The haupia is DEEEEELISH!

Enjoy the sun, the men, and some rest and relaxation!

PS I know the Honolulu Fire Department has a surf school. They pick you up at the hotel, take you to an uncrowded beach and teach you to surf using a styrofoam board (to prevent injury). I didn't know about it in time for my visit to Hawai'i in 2003, but oh, to be touched by hunky fire fighters!!!!!! ;D

Wow, I didn't see that coming. You certainly know how to surprise us all!! But, how cool!!! I'm very jealous. Have a great time, you definitely deserve it. Post some pics when you get a chance. I've never been to Hawaii, but I'd love to go, and now I can enjoy it vicariously through you! Hooray for the internet!

Aloha, I am so hate you!! Have been awhile not visiting Honolulu.

Posted by: Lifebook at March 16, 2006 01:35 PM

HA! Sand in the ass cleavage -- body surfing will do that to you.

I body surfed the first time in New Zealand -- this hunky Brit (straight guy) taught me. On my first successful run (after about 10,000 tries), the wave broke and tossed me into the sand and a few inches of water. I stood up screaming in excitement at finally having successfully surved a wave on my belly. I was jumping up and down and hooting and hollering facing the beach filled with New Zealanders celebrating Christmas day, as is tradition there.

My bathing suit was down around my ankles!

Have fun in the sun! Glad you got to take a holiday.

Can't wait for some pics.

So you're here huh? Well welcome to the islands. Sorry, the weather is not so great but at least it's not as bad as it had been earlier. Hope you and your friend have a great time and you buy alot of omiyage! (Gotta support Hawaii's economy!) Lane

Posted by: LaneO at March 16, 2006 04:40 PM

Oooh, lucky you! It warm here, like low 60 degrees last week, but now it's cold again.

Be sure to have a great time and eat some SPAM while you are in Hawaii- I think it's a law that you have to while you are there- like SPAM rice balls and whatnot. Happy vacation!

Posted by: fashmagslag at March 16, 2006 09:56 PM

Yup, hating you too! ;)

Enjoy your vacation!!!

Posted by: Hanuman at March 16, 2006 10:12 PM

Wow! Fantastic! I'm so jealous of you, dude! Have a fantabulous time! GB

Posted by: GayBoyDiary at March 16, 2006 10:24 PM

Looks like all of us are jealous of you! :-) Anyway, its raining in Tokyo....not cold but humid!

Last time I was in sunny Honolulu it was almost 18 years ago! Yes - I'm so out of that place but wouldn't mind going back there again to ogle at the guys with the 6 pack of abs!

You have fun in Hawaii and looking forward to some really cool pictures!

Posted by: ian at March 17, 2006 12:30 AM

Hawaii? How wonderful. I hope you have a great vacation, you desere it.

Posted by: Cesar at March 17, 2006 12:35 AM

Have a fun tropical blast in Hawaii, Shigeki! You totally deserve that. Body-surfing, huh? That's some highly-sexy manly activity you have there. Go get yourself some nice tan, and snap some pics of yourself for your fans! Can't wait!

Posted by: Mark at March 17, 2006 01:00 AM

Add me to the 'jealous' list! I loved Hawaii even though I was there with my soon-to-be-ex-boyriend the one time I was there. Where are you staying? Where do you go out at night after you've slutted yourself up? Details, boy! ;-) Sounds like you are having a great time, you deserve it!

The only drawback to the beach is getting sand in one's unmentionables. Other than that, I love the ocean and I love the beach. I hope you have such a fantastic time in Hawaii! Relax and have fun, YOU DESERVE IT. *smooch*

Posted by: Mush at March 17, 2006 01:44 AM

hawaii!! that's so nice! enjoy yourself!

Posted by: tiptup at March 17, 2006 07:46 AM

Hawaii. No fair. I am green with envy. BUT, have fun with all the hot tan guys.

*aloha smooches*

Hi GaijinGirl,

Thanks for the recommendation. While it wasn't in Waikiki, it was pretty much easy to get there. I didn't have a lot of trouble with one way stupid streets. :-) To be honest, those firefighters I saw here weren't as hot as I thought I'd like them to be.... But my imagination is too naughty. I prefer cops. :-) You have a fantabulous day!

Thanks, Ca va pas la tete,

Hi Tim,

Well, I always come up with what I do for the day so I didn't have room to mention this trip. Though I made a reservation last Monday :-) You should definitely plan your trip to Hawaii but it's very far from where you are.... Maybe, Ibiza instead? But it's totally different... :-) You have a wonderful day!

Hi Lifebook,

Oh sorry :-( But I will make sure I wll have fun for you. :-) I mean since you cannot have fun right now in Hawaii, I will do that for you. :-) You have a good day!

Hi Steven,

Yeah, sand. It's not fun to have it in my thing but then it's inevitable... :-) Oh my God, the hunky brit sufer gave you a private lesson? Seriously? I am so jealous. :-) That accent made you crazy for sure. I am glad you disclosed everything to a brit guy. hahaha. That was funny. Thanks for sharing. :-) You have a wonderful day!

Hi Lane,

Yes, I am here. :-) Well, according to the weather forecast, it didn't look great before I got here but then, it's not as bad as I thought it would be. I am always blessed with the weather. :-) I spent too much money already. But every Japanese tourist here does that, right? I am no exception. You have a wonderful day!

Hi Fashmagslag,

Wow, what a big change!! I hope you won't be sick again or anything. :-) Keep yourself warm or have someone do that for ya. Since I did the recommendation by GaijinGirl, I will plan on having Spam-don (Spam over rice) tomorrow. I love Spam. :-) Pork is a tropical thingy, I guess? :-) Thanks for the suggestion. You have a good day!

Hi Hanuman,

hahaha. I am sorry. but I will definitely enjoy it. Thanks!

Hi GayBoyDiary,

Thanks very much, Gay Boy. But staying here in Hawaii for a long time will make my brain drain from the ear as it's a happy place. :-) You have a great day!

Hi Ian,

hahaha. I am sorry it's raining there. But I am glad it's not as cold as earlier this week. I mean there aren't many hot guys but one out of 50, you get to see a gorgeous bod. oh my. How could they do that? damn. You have a fantabulous day!

Hi Cesar,

Yup. Hawaii. It's a magical place. It's been fantabulous. :-) Thanks for stopping by and you have a wonderful day!

Hi Mark,

Thanks very much, Mark. According to the surf shop owner in Haleiwa, body-surfing is for ladies or queers. :-) So it's not really manly if you ask him. :-( But I don't mind as I am so queer already. Well, since my skin is extremely sensitive, I have to put sunscreen on unfortunately... doctor's order...:-( You have a wonderful day!

Hi TK,

hahaha. I am staying in Waikiki just like thousands of tourists would do. :-) There aren't many gay clubs but I went to a straight one instead. Even though I had to pretend to be straight since my friend wanted to hook up with someone, I was so uncomfy. I made sure I didn't put my pinky up while I drink.... not that I do it but you never know. :-) Good day!

Hi Mush,

And the additional drawback would be if you can't play the card right, you drink lots of seawater... :-( I thought I was going to die. :-) Thanks very much. It's been fantastic. You, too have a great day!

Hi Tiptup,

Oh yes. it's so nice here. It's kinda cooler than I thought it would be. But it's pretty nice. Hot guys. :-) You have a good day!

HI EnviroBoi,

I am sorry. I usually come here in spring so I have to do this. :-) Thanks very much and you have a wonderful day!
