According to Weather channel I watched last night, the chance of rainy days in Las Vegas is about 7%. But it was supposed to be very rainy this weekend here in Las Vegas. But look at it! It's sunny!!!! Yay. See, I am always lucky with the weather when I travel. I came here to
become rich see a friend of mine who worked at the same place. . She is vacationing for a year in Vancouver and decided to spend 2 months in Las Vegas as she visited here for homestay. The other reason why I am here is of course, to be freaking rich. When I come here, I always spend all my time in the Strip (that's where Casinos are). So I decided to visit some places. This is Valley of Fire. One hour drive from Las Vegas. it was really breath-taking...
I usually carry small amount of cash and credit cards when I travel. But for the first time, I got Traveler's Cheques just like the second photo. What are these for?
Gambling. Baby I am flying back to Tokyo in a first class seat according to my plan.
Last time I was here, I was lucky. Hopefully, this time, too. I am even ready to get interviewed for jackpot winning. :-) I have a pretty shirt in case I get interviewed. Yeah... right. It's only my impossible dream.... Off to gambling. Have a fantabulous one!

I've never been to Vegas-- it looks utterly surreal and embodies everything that is wrong with the world, which is probably why it would be a fun vacation place ;)
I don't really like gambling, though. I've done slot machines before and won a cigarette lighter and instant ramen at pachinko, though, but it's not the same ^_^

Wow...I thought you would be blogging from the birthplace of Starbucks. Anyway, I'm not much of a gambler. About $20 on nickel slots is all I am willing to lose. I'd much rather spend my money overeating at the buffets, or overspending at the outlet malls. I got a great pair of black Levi's for $10 a half-dozen Thanksgivings back. I don't know if the seafood buffet at Rio is still open, but we enjoyed that a lot (except that the lobster tails tasted just a big waterlogged).
It's a beautiful day in Shimane, too, but it looks like Tokyo has been blown around by some really gusty winds the past couple of days. Everyone is worried that the cherry blossoms will die an extra premature death. I'm glad the good weather always knows where to find you, but I think it's because of your sunny outlook...when you smile, Mother Nature smiles with you!

On the way from Hawaii to Las Vegas, I stayed in Seattle and went for drinks with my friends there. But it was just 6 hours stay. :-) I won alright but it wasn't what I expected. Should I go back to Las Vegas and give it a second try? well... I could but I think I am all done with Las Vegas at this point... OH my god. Yup. Hawaii, Vegas, and Portland. I am absolutely sure there aren't many people who would be envy of me coming to Portland but I love this city very much. :-) The second favorite U.S. city. :-) Of course, the first is Seattle. :-) They got me this baby outfit, and they made me push the huge baby buggy on the stage of Mystere... The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.
I'll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
If you're still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you'll know which is right for you.
