It's the end.

I am finally back in Tokyo. It's Sunday night. I will have to work tomorrow. Mostly, what I will do tomorrow at work is "to pretend" to read all the e-mails I got during the vacation. I am sure it will be more than 2000 e-mails. But what can I do? I will just go easy even though I heard the work there has been crazy. However, I didn't have an opportunity to log onto the network. My 1 and a half week vacation in the United States of America was very awesome. :-) I am ready to take another vacation if I win Oregon lotto. :-) Until then, I will be working. You have a fantabulous new week!

Glad you had a good time here in the states, Shigeki! Looks like you had some great meals.

Safeway, huh? Well I go all the time; not so much of a thrill any more.

With all your great pictures and notes I feel like I was on vacation with you. Uh oh,
I have to go to work tomorrow too. Yucko. Glad you had a great time!

I too like to check out the local scene when travelling. You get more of a feel for what it's like to really be there. Good pics!

glad to hear that you're back home, safe and sound, shigeki!

Like me and all of your other blog fans, I'm sure your parents are glad you are home safe and sound, too. The news of the Seattle shootout at a neighborhood house party made it on Japanese TV yesterday. I'm sure they would have been worried sick.

I hope there are a few sakura trees near your office so that you can take short breaks to enjoy their beauty. Good luck getting "unburied" from all the work that piled up while you were gone! Thanks again for the goodies from paradise!

the photos are great... luv them...

I'm almost vegan -- I can "wrap" around you, if you like :)

Hydrogenated oil is thought to be very bad in North America too -- the reason companies admit that their food contains it is because it is the law!

Glad you are home safe -- really sorry about the work on Monday morning thing. There is nothing worse than a Monday morning at work except for a Monday morning at work after a vacation!

Thanks for the travel pics!

Welcum home, shigeki-san!

i've been boycotting safeway since 1990 when they shut down the warehouse bran worked at. they did that to break the union. they reopened the warehouse with nonunion workers a year later. i haven't shopped there since. i found that sobeys and superstore have a better selection of items.

You always have the nicest pics shigeki... lets find out if you have the nicest pecs too...

the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, yay to that! great pics, and i wonder if you ever had anything huge other than that huge supermarket. haha! happy springtime, shigeki!

Ah...to be in Tokyo for the cherry blossoms..... :)

I'm glad that you're home safe and sound, Shigeki-san!! :)

Hi TK,

Thanks very much. I did have a wonderful time. :-) Yup, I had good meals very much while I was there. I didn't gain weight :-) That's awesome considering I did enjoy it very much. :-) That's lucky that you get to go to Safeway all the time. :-) I am jealous. Good day!

Hi Maggie,

Thanks very much. I am glad you did enjoy my photos. Yup, it was a blue Monday. But that's why we get to have a day off and enjoy because we work, right? unless you are a filthy rich person. :-) You have a great week!

Hi Rick,

Yup, it's the best way to know part of local cultures. I usually go to either supermarket or a usual market. :-) I love fishermen for some reason. Some of them are extraordinarily hot. :-) You have a good day!

Hi Raph,

Thanks very much. :-) You have a great day!

Hi GaijinGirl,

Well, Seattle is relatively safe and anywhere can be dangerous if you don't really take your responsibilities, you know. There are some cherry blossoms near my work but I'd love to go to somewhere more beautiful but it's usually night when I get out of here... :-( You have a great day!

HI Monmon,

Welcome to my site. Thank you very much. You have a great day!

Hi Steve,

hahaha. You can wrap ? That's a nice offer. Thanks. :-) That's good that hydrogenated products are considered bad in North America. :-) I wouldn't want anything hydrogenated actually if I may. Well, we have to work in order to support us so that's totally okay. :-) So that I can think of the next vacation I am going to take. :-) You have a great day!

Hi Ca va pas la tete,

Thanks very much!

Hi Naomi,

What the corporate management could do to people. I am sorry about the story behind it. However, our managemnet is doing something nastier to us. But I still work for them. Oh well... :-( I like safeway because the way they treat customers. I like them unfortunately..... uh... You have a great day!

Hi Mark,

I think they will be in full bloom in three days. They are not really in full bloom yet. :-) hahaha. I've had something huge before but I think it's too personal to share. :-) You have a great day!

Hi Hanuman,

Oh yeah, cherry blossoms. They are beautiful. But the cherry blossoms I saw in Portland were beautiful, too. :-) You have a great day!

Yeah, going back to work after a holiday sucks, especially if you don't like your job very much :-( I totally agree about going to supermarkets on holiday - it's so interesting! I love buying foreign snacks and drinks, the packaging and the flavours are always different somehow even though they're basically the same product that you can buy at home.

I truly appreciate this post. Iˇ¦ve been looking all over for this! Thank goodness I found it on Bing. You have made my day! Thanks again

Iˇ¦ve recently started a web site, the info you provide on this website has helped me tremendously. Thank you for all of your time & work.

I was just searching for this info for a while. After six hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your site. I wonder what is the lack of Google strategy that don't rank this kind of informative sites in top of the list. Usually the top websites are full of garbage.

I am so happy to read this. This is the type of manual that needs to be given and not the random misinformation that's at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this best doc.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like 'Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of "neighbors" will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

I really appreciate this post. I have been looking everywhere for this! Thank goodness I found it on Bing. You've made my day! Thanks again

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

Wow! This can be one particular of the most beneficial blogs We have ever arrive across on this subject. Basically Magnificent. I'm also a specialist in this topic therefore I can understand your hard work.
