I don't think you have to believe in Karma to know its graces. I like to accept Karma rather than believe in it -- that way I don't sully karmic energy with thoughts of relligious belief.

It's a good thing that you got an honest cab driver, but had you lost your wallet instead of the security cards, I wonder if you would have gotten everything back. The Japan of today is sadly not the Japan of 16 years ago.
Good on you for always doing the right thing. like telling people when they've dropped their gloves. Maybe all the good things that happen to you get paid out in a big lump, like your bonus and the Chevy!
