Just some things...

Tue, 21 February 2006

I know this looks like Tofu but this is not Tofu. I had a panna cotta (italian pudding) for dessert on my lunch break today. It was fantabulous. I liked it. This was the first lunch I have ever had this month. I went to lunch with a cute guy in Finance department. I was happy. :-)
1. Let's just say in the elevator, when I smell something unpleasant all of the sudden, I firstly suspect myself. I get relieved to be sure it is not me. Someone smelly was near by. Not that I am smelly. I shower very well but I always suspect myself first by sniffing my shoulder....
2. "I will call you" without getting the phone number at the end of the date means "good bye forever"..... "You got your hair cut! " doesn't necessarily mean you are pretty. It just means I noticed a little thing straight guys usually don't. It's like giving myself credit for noticing it. That's it, Lady in Legal department.
3.I had a discussion at work today. Discussing some issue at work. This guy illustrated negative points about our team. But what he was saying was very incosistent and he is dumb. I hate him.. Usually, I am quiet and act pretty. But today, I was willing to pick fight. So I told him what was inconsistent with what he said. I even pointed out how weak his supporting opinions were. He was defeated. God, I love this feeling after defeating someone badly in a debate. It's almost as good as shooting my load, really. But I barely do it though. Okay, back to act pretty and graceful :-)
Happy a peaceful Tuesday, everyone! Peace!

Ooooh, Shigeki lays the SMACK DOWN on dumbass at work! I'm sure he deserved it, and the others probably enjoyed listening to you grill him, too. How positively SEXXXXXXXY to hear you unleash your wrath!!!!!! I'm glad it was him and not me! Tee hee hee!

Hi Shigeki! Oh I missed commenting on your blog!! You're such a fun read every day!

OMG I have used that "I'll call you line" before. Some people get the hint, and some call you the next day going "I thought you were going to call me?" acting all seductive. Blech.

And here I was thinking you're all kind and humble when you speak Japanese. Or was it an English presentation?

Don't we love our colleauges at work - finance (for the lovely lunch), legal (for good conversations?) and others! For which you had your fangs out and ready to pounce on anybody at anytime as well! Time to get laid my friend! :-)

Look pretty and humble...don't want to see Shigeki san with wrinkles because of stress and anger :-) have a good day at work.....

Was the lunch with Finance Guy a date or just a lunch? I love lunch dates because you know that no matter how it goes it will only last for how ever long your lunch time is.

Clarification, please. You barely shoot your load, or barely speak your mind forcefully in a meeting?

Love your distinction on the haircut comment. Try this as a compliment. Say: "You look good...TODAY!"

And, I'm glad you sniff at your shoulder and not your crotch on the elevator :)

"Back to act pretty and graceful"....of course! How else could Shigeki do it? Always graceful...especially under fire ;) Well done with challenging the nitpicker. :)

Oh, am I the only person who says "I will call you" and actually mean it? if I don't want to meet someone again I just stay quiet or say "see you around"! lol!

Gayboydiary~ When I say I'll call you, I will call!! And I do use "I'll see you around" for people I don't really wanna see around. You have a hyper-elevated weekend shigeki!

Posted by: AJ at February 22, 2006 10:55 AM

If I am not keen on the second date, I would normally say 'see ya around' too. ;)

If there is any exchange of phone numbers and an offer to call made on my part, I will almost always follow up on it. But then again, I do not hand out my number or ask for others' numbers very readily.

I've never been much on sugar-coating what I think to others. Although I've been out of the dating game for a while, if I am otherwise unimpressed by the date's (pick one: behaviour/hygiene/attitude/other significant character issue) - I'd more than likely say something like "Sorry man, this probably won't work... bye-bye!".

Response adjusted for the occasion, of course. :)

The way I see it, if there are no allusions to where I and th date see each other, there is generally less hard feelings down the road.

Hi GaijinGirl,

hahaha. Well, I am sure he deserved it, too. Well, I don't like being violent verbally but I didn't say any inappropriate words even though I frequently do so outside of the work :-) Um.... if you treat me nice, I won't be evil for sure. :-) you have a pretty day!

Hi Will,

Well, that's alright as you have been stalking a hottie on the train. :) It doesn't necessarily have to be a date exclusively actually. It could be something you would say at the end of the company gathering or something. :-) I defeated him in Japanese. I can be very aggressive once in a blue moon. :-) Good evening!

Hi Ian,

I loved the finance guy very much. He looks geeky but not in a bad way. His outfit is very pretty, too. :-) Well, I just try to be more intellectual as all I deal with is computers. I wish I could get laid... huh... I try to but my magic is fading out as I already turned 30.... huh. You have a pleasant evening!

HI Cesar,

It was just a lunch. I am pretty sure he is straight. I keep my work very separate from my personal life so I don't think I could date anyone from work. Well, I almost did it once but I was stood up by him.... You have a wonderful day!

Hi Steve,

I frequently shoot my load and I barely speak my mind. :-) I hope it clears up. hahaha. That would be very sarcastic and I am sure I get shot to death if I made that obvious. But I will keep that in my mind. How would I be able to sniff my crotch? not that I am gonna try.... You have a gorgeous day!

Hi Mr. Brian,

Hahaha. Thanks very much. I would love to act pretty and calm even though my blood is boiling inside. :-) I guess i try to hide it very well. I hate that moron so I couldn't stand it anymore yesterday but I don't regret that I did it to him. :-) You have a fantastic day!

Hi Gayboydiary,

Welcome to my site. I see you are another visitor from U.K.! Yay for U.K. Well, I am not all that familiar with your country but I've been there. :-) Well, I am sure there are nice person who really mean what they say. :) You are a good dude. I am proud of you. You have a marvelous day!

Hi AJ,

That's a good approach, AJ. But sometimes, the messages cannot be interpreted the way you wants it. That's the sad part for subtle communication. But I like it :-) You have a wonderful evening! (well, it's not a weekend yet though)

Hi Ca va pas la tete,

That's good. I'd do the same but I am not sure as I haven't had a date for a very very long time... sob. You have a beautiful evening!

Hi Seekeronos,

well, i guess I could be more direct and forward when I say things in English but I always sugar coat what I say to others when I say in Japanese.... "Sorry, it's not gonna work" sounds really hard but I am sure it's very crystal clear. :-) You are a brave man. :) I like that. You have a fantabulous day!
