I am inappropriate
Tue, 24 January 2006

The photo is Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office Building in my work district. I took this photo when we had a lunch break. A friend of mine who works in the same district asked me whether I could have lunch with him. Surprisingly, I was able to afford my time for a decent lunch time. Even though I have to renew my passport and my international driver's license pretty soon, (meaning I have to take a photo of myself and I need to take extra caution on my skin to look best-est as I am not photogenic) I had greasy lunch today. That's not good for my pores on my face. But we went to KFC anyway. KFC lunch here is a little different so it's not as pathetic as you might imagine. But it's not defenitely fancy, either. :) Anyway, for your information, my favorite animal meat is either lamb or chicken. When we just sat after ordering our lunch, this question popped in my head. I couldn't hold it to myself so I had to ask a friend of mine. "How many chickens do you think they have to kill in one day just for this store to accomodate every order they get? " I also fooled around with a chicken leg by saying "cock-a-doodle-doo". But I didn't really gross me out with the idea but a friend of mine lost his appetite. I still enjoyed my chicken though. I am so inappropriate.... I am going to hell for sure.... Have a fantastique day/night!

I'm sure you've heard of this urban legend that KFC chicken are genetically-modified to have plenty of legs and wings (even asses?) for cost-efficient production of chicken parts for those KFC meals. Now that's a gross idea. Nonetheless, I love KFC but after consuming a two-piece meal, I vow never to eat KFC again, which of course doesn't hold true for a long time. Hehehe.
That's a great shot! The refraction of the sunlight seemed like an effect added on the photo. Neat! Say cheese for the camera!!!

Hi Shigeki!
That's a good photo! ;-) You've got the sun behind the building and draw the attention of viewers to the building. I like your Tocho picture! ;-) KFC - Hmmm I love KFC but having too much is not good for you and you feel sick if you have too much at a time! ;-p Mos burgers do healthier food. ;-) I hope they can open some Mos burgers in Londo.

You mean all those times I've been at the Keio Plaza, I've been in Shigeki-chama's work kingdom? Do you go to the Excelsior Caffe near the Keio Plaza? I've been there once or twice.
Last week I went to Mos and I had a piece of their spicy fried chicken. Mmmmm yummy!!!!!! I think Mos is so much better than KFC, but then again, we don't have a KFC in Hamada, so I guess it's unfair to declare Mos the winner without actually eating KFC. Cockle doodle doooooooo! Bird flu, what bird flu?

Shigeki, you make me laugh! I want to see you make the chicken leg dance!

Great photo Shigeki san! and today is a nice day for shots like this! Neat eh?! I wish I had my camera with me and would be able to snap some of the buiidings around my office.
KFC! Man, you have to be careful with the oily stuff! I guess with all the running that you have been doing maybe KFC is well deserved! I only eat them when I have had a huge hang over. KFC during the hang over period is simply devine! Yumm......

Chicken rocks :)

I love KFC! Can eat buckets and barrels of it but I fear I'd balloon into the Michelin man.

Cock-I'd-do-I-do ;oP

"How many chickens do you think they have to kill in one day just for this store to accomodate every order they get? "
If you knew the conditions that those poor creatures were raised in, and the horrific way in which they were killed in order to provide you with that meal, you would never eat another piece of chicken again........

I love fried food. Especially fried catfish, with fried okra.
Why did your friend loose his appetite b/c you made the leg dance? I don't see anything innapropriate in that.

Ewh. Chicken.

I love my KFC! Please don't spoil it for me!
I wonder how KFC Japan tastes like. I'm sure it's something like the fabulous one I had in Taipei, where the skin is still fried and crispy yet it's barely oily.
The ones in KL are the yummiest and the oiliest though. It's really sinful and, as you put it, fantastique!

Okay, I'm going to KFC now!

I've had KFC in the UK, Australia, and Malaysia .... but not Japan I think. I don't even remember seeing KFC in Japan. I had McDonalds and Wendys in Japan, but not Mos Burger I don't think, as it was only after I got back that I heard that Mos Burger are yummy :-( My Japanese pen friend sent me some Hello Kitty skin blotters, so if your skin gets too oily from the fried chicken I'm sure you will be able to buy some too, in order to get rid of the grease ;-)

I have a pretty balanced diet, but it IS good to have crap food like KFC every once in a while. I love getting an 8 piece meal, which comes with 2 side orders, 4 biscuits, and 8 pieces of chicken. I eat it in 2 meals and it's great. Then, it's back to a regular balanced diet until another month or so. ;)

Who wants to go to a restaurant where they serve meals in a bucket! It's obscene!

Hi Mark,
Oh wow, I haven't heard of that thing before. That's kinda bizarre but I can easily understand kids would believe it. :) I love KFC. that's my second favorite junk food chain. I don't think I can give that up. I only have it once a month. :) Thanks for the compliment on the photo. It came nicely, I think. :) You have a pleasant evening!
Hi Seishi,
Thanks very much about the photo. :) I didn't know you even knew "Tocho". I am so wondering how fluent you are!. MOS Burgers are awesome! That's my favorite junk food store. Though there is not one near my work unfortunately... They launched some stores abroad but they didn't succeed as it takes more time for them.... Sad... You have a good afternoon!
Hi GaijinGirl,
Yes, I work in Nishi-Shinjuku :) But why would I go to that Excelsior Cafe across the street from the hotel when there is the most gorgeous barista at Starbucks?? Well, MOS is not a chicken place. I love chicken. :) Mayo-Pepper Wrap is my favorite. :) I am surprised that you guys don't have one there! That's so INAKA! Bird Flu? well, it's cooked. so no worries. :) Good evening!
Hi Kevin,
Did I? huh... I think I can be inappropriate from time to time. It was really silly though. I didn't write one more thing I did though. Which is talking about how slaughtering is automated at Chicken slaughter place.... I've seen that on PBS. You have a fantastic morning!
HI Ian,
Thank you very much! Oh yes, today is a nice day, too. Dry, blue sky and warmer!! What camera do you have? My camera isn't really an advanced one so you might wanna give it a shot! Well, i am not really worried about oily stuff. If I feel gaining weight, I just do things I need to do. :) But KFC when you have a hang over? wow.. I could never do that. :) You have a wonderful evening!
Hi Larry,
Oh yes, it does :) You have a fabulous morning!
Hi Paul,
That's great. I do, too. I don't think I can eat that many but I sometimes have this urge to eat KFC for no apparent reason. But eating it frequently could cause you a problem so you'd better watch out! :) You have a good evening!
HI AJ,
I wonder how different it is over there in Malaysia. But that's good a lot of them are KFC whores. :) Yay for KFC! You have a splendid evening!
HI Hanuman,
Well, I actually have seen this PBS show that featured how chicken slaughtering was automated. (It was very surprising that a lot of chickens get killed in one second!) I couldn't eat any meat on that day after watching it but I have recovered from the horrible experience. :) You have a fantabulous morning!
Hi Cesar,
I do, too. But I don't eat fried food much unfortunately. I love fried oysters. :) They are so yummy. He lost his appetite because I talked about the PBS show thingy. I was very inappropriate. But I couldn't help..... You have a marvelous morning!
Hi Mush,
I understand you are vegetarian so your comment is legitimate. :) But I don't do ew on chicken unfortunately. You have a fantastic day!
HI Will,
I do, too! Well, KFC Japan is more "Japanized" if you know what I mean. They have soy sauce taste ones as well as original recipe. Also, they have these wraps and limited season meals. :) They are all yummy. :) I am intrigued to know how different it tastes over there in Malaysia. I so wanna try it. :) You have a fatastique evening!
HI Kiss My Mike,
Welcome to my site! another easter coaster, eh? What "mike" are you telling me to kiss? Any particular part of Mike? hahaha. I hope you had a great time at KFC! Good morning to you!
HI Tim,
That's kewl that you tasted KFC in other countries. Well, KFC is not the most popular junk food chain. Did you happen to go to Freshness? Freshness, and MOS, these two are the best among others for sure. :) Too bad you couldn't taste MOS burger. I have a nice face wash cloth. ;) That will do the trick :) Hello Kitty is a little too feminine for me. You have a good afternoon!
Hi Jon,
That's so great. You do consult with a nutritionist for your diet? Oh yes, we need to have something junky every once in a while. But I don't think I could have that much in 2meals.... That's too much.... But it's Super Bowl season. so KFC is perfect! You have a fantabulous morning!
Hi Amo,
I do... is it so wrong?? I mean I like something like that every once in a while. Having sophisticated meals all the time doesn't intrigue me unfortunately... I hope you get my point though. :) You have a great afternoon!
