I flew from Sapporo today. I went there yesterday to enjoy Sapporo beer and snowboarding. It was fantastique. But getting up early to come back to Tokyo isn't great...Anyway, some notes here...1. I went to get my hair trimmed. When I go to a hair salon, I ask for a less cute guy or a lady to do my hair. You know how close the hair stylist gets when doing a sensitive part of the hair to trim??? I'd be nervous if the cute guy did that.
| 2. | I like commuting by train. I saw this cute guy standing by the door and I was 2 doors away from him. He was facing me and I was facing him. The subtle cruising was going on. Maybe, I am wrong. While giving him a impaling stare, my i-Pod started playing "Pop-Star" by Ken Hirai. I wanna be your pop star... Oh yes, I do. A gay cruising moment when listening to a gay song by a gay singer. Was this some sort of a sign? |
| 3. | We had a meeting with this engineer from the headquarters. There was the fatal operational mistake by him. He pretends to know IT stuff and never admits his mistakes. (I was almost crucified for what he did last June.) Anyway, there were others in the room so I acted civil. I went outside to get everybody coffee. That's a group secretary job. But I did it as I am very nice. Um..poisoning him is illegal. So I put soy sauce in his coffee. Ew. I brought everyone coffee and he sipped. "This coffee is funny". I said "Really? The water here in Tokyo is different from Boston. That must be it." No, it's not the water, dumb ass. |
Woohoo! First to post for once!! Oh snowboarding in Sapporo? I really wanna try snowboarding sometime! One of the snow sport that i adore the most! Guess I'll do that when I move to canada! >:D
Anyway~
1) I would want a cute guy to cut my hair! Plus, since I'm looking at the mirror most of the time, i wouldn't be starring at him directly at the eyes! Subtle, isn't it? *evil laughter*
2) I didn't know Hirai ken was gay! Well... most of the pop band like Kinki Kids, Arashi and such i could expect... but I never thought of Hirai Ken... but oh... did you manage to ask the cute guy for his number? >:D
3) Hahaha! You didn't! Did that man ever realize it?
In any case, have a fantastic week! Oh... and Happy Chinese New Year to you! Even though you're not a chinese! ;)
Good God. Who are those singers! But anyway, you should have given the cute guy a saucy wink. You might get his number!
paul
You should have put wasabi in his coffee!! ;-)
Ohhh Shigeki you are evil, in the best possible way. I'd like to see you snowboard, you are so butch! ;-)
Your posts always make me smile. :-)
TK
How LUXURIOUS!!! Hopping on a plane to enjoy beer and do snowboarding. Just like that? I'm envious! Haha.
1. Cute guy. That's a no brainer. Haha!
2. Definitely a sign! You should've done more.
3. Oh no you didn't!!! But that's a good one. Haha!
I couldn't stop LOL when I read your blog! You're a hoon man!
I now know why I'm drawn to your everyday antics! You are hilarious and full of energy! Not bad for a 30 year old something :-) ... This gives me no excuse for my current attitude over life upon reaching 30 something!
And by the way, the IT guy of yours from Boston....well there are plenty of them who are out there who thinks that they know all their shit but really they know f#$% all! But they certainly know how to articulate things! That's their strength....unfortunately. Well done to a new way of dinking coffee - soy sauce coffee! So watch all you show off guys out there - there is a new coffee in town - Kikkomon Coffee...:-)
Oh by the way, there are rich expats and poor expats...they have vastly different pay scales..trust me!
Remind me to always stay on your good side, sweetie dahling!!
hello shigeki,
didn't know that ken hirai was gay. in boston we have online forums where you can post about someone like that cute guy and if he reads it, he may respond. kinda hard to explain but like this one called second chances and another one called missed connections.
anyway, you're so evil for messing with the coffee. I would never had the nerve to do that.
Wow, nobody messes with Shigeki! Revenge is sweet, as they say ..... or soy-flavoured, in this case! And that's cool that you went snowboarding .... I've never been snowboarding or skiing. I think I'd like to try, but I know I wouldn't be very good :-(
Hi Chris,
Thanks for the first post, woo-hoo-!
Snowboarding is really really cool. When you get a chance, you should try it definitely. It's absolutely cool but more exhausting than you can imagine so get ready to be stronger:-) Well, Hirai Ken is not out or anything but we all know it's an unwritten rule about him being gay. :) I hope you had a great Chinese New Year! Good night!
Hi Paul,
hahaha. I don't think they are all gay but they are queer enough for sure. :) Well, I wish I could but there were other people in the car. Would you do that if you were me? I doubt it. :) But I wanted to get his number!!! I think it only happens in the movie or something because I wouldn't do it in public... really. Have a pleasant evening!
Hi Seishi,
Well, I wanted to make it "subtle" instead of "obvious". So a few drops of soy sauce was very effective! Good day!
Hi Kevin,
Well, if I am really really pissed off, I can be an evil bitch. He pissed me off in the meeting. So he got that fabulous coffee. :-) Well, snowboarding in Barton outfits is very gay actually. :) I think skiing is extremely butch. I love a pretty guy skiing instead of snowboarding. because I can't ski very well :-( well, my posts are kinda "huh..." stuff but I appreciate you stopping by. :) Good day!
Hi Mark,
No, it's not a luxruious thingy at all actually. I used my frequent flyer miles for the air ticket. A friend of mine got us a free hotel room. :) So only a lift ticket to pay for. :) And Sapporo is only an hour flight from Tokyo so it's very convenient for a weekend trip. I wish I could go there on Saturday but couldn't.... Well, I did slip a few drops of soy sauce. But I didn't do it today. :) How good am I! Good evening!
Hi Ian,
Well, my blog is always "non-exciting scribbles" as it suggests in the title. so don't keep your hopes up too high. :) I tend to mumble a lot here. :) Well, excuse you, mistah! I am not 30 something. I am just 30. see there is a big difference? That's too sad that there are people who pretend to know stuff. But I see more people in our field, IT. What's up with that? I am pretty sure he enjoyed his "neo-Japanese" coffee for sure. I was very tempted to do that again today but I didn't. How good am I? :) wonderful evening!
Hi Hanuman,
Oh indeedy. If I am very pissy, I'd do a nasty thingy without him even realizing I did something nasty. :) I am so bitchy once in a very blue moon. :) You have a fantabulous morning!
HI Tiptup,
Well, he is not officially out but we all know he is a homo. :) We have that kind of things, like "I saw you on Sunday..blahblahblah" thingy. Does it ever work???? well, if I missed the chance, that's about it. :) If I am really really sad and willing to date the guy, I might as well do that. :) Oh yes, I am so evil. So don't you ever mess up with me. :) hehehe. Well, I don't have any big nerve to do that. I just did it behind his back. :-) You have a fantabulous morning!
Hi Tim,
Damn right, Tim. :) No body never messes with me. Well, s/he could but I might do something bad to her/him without her/him realizing me doing the revenge. :) Oh yes, I looove snowboarding. Although I was dead tired after a few runs. But I really loved it. You should try some time! It's really a wonderful experience. And snowboarding is not as hard as skiing. See, tempting? You don't have to be an olympic athlete to do that. :) Give yourself a try when you can! please. :) Have a good afternoon!
Hi
I can't agree with you more about the train rides in tokyo. I always EVERY WEEK found some cute hot looking guy whilst at the train stations or whilst riding the trains....and rush hour is an awkward time too when sometimes you have really hot guys pressed against you or you see two hot guys pressed against each other due to the mad rush hour period (which i am sure anyone whos lived in tokyo can appreciate).....miss the train rides in tokyo....hehe
Ken Hirai is gay? Oh oh oh He is so hunky. My type definitely! Hey my ipod has been replaced and I am currently downloading a lot of podcast!
Soy sauce in the coffee, that is absolute jeanouse (and evil). I love it.
