It's Monday but a holiday here in Japan. Marine Day. I have no idea why it's called that. According to the climate observatory, the rainy season was officially over as of yesterday. The summer has come. This may be very cliche but I went bodysurfing earlier this morning to observe "Marine day. As Tokyo bay isn't great, we went to Hayama which is about 1.5 hour drive from Tokyo. We didn't have great waves but they were mild enough. I carefully put water proof sunscreen all over as I didn't wanna look like a boiled lobster tomorrow. My suit was from last year. By the way, is it so weird that I put speedo on under the suit? My friends picked on me doing that as they didn't wear anything inside the suit. I like certain support on my crotch. Is that so wrong? We bodysurfed for about 3 hours there. The temperature went up to 35 Degrees Celsius = 95 Degrees Fahrenheit. I generally hate summer in the Tokyo area but this time it's different. Maybe, I don't have to wear anything fancy. Shorts and a sleeveless shirt. And of course, cute guys with little fabric. Anyway, since it was already too hot to continue, we headed back to Tokyo to avoid the evening traffic jams. It was absolutely relaxing and fun regardless of my hair getting sticky due to the sea water. The blue sky, hunky life guards, and the beach. The mixed smell of sun oil and the beach. ooohhhh yes, it's very summer. I am happy. Now taking a shower to get rid of this beachy smell on me. (^_^)V
A happy Shigeki makes me a happy Larry.
Oh and here in Maine our shoreline is nothing but rocks. So you should be happy you have access to sand as well :)
Sounds nice! Wish I were there with you. I haven't been to a beach in years. Take some pics of these hot guys to post.
And no, it's not weird to wear anything under your trunks. You could even wear the Speedo alone...
rowr....... ;)
Well, now you have to find out why you have this Marine Day. Is it the military marine or is it maritime?

Good thing I'm not catholic anymore, you tease you.. ;)
Thank you, Larry.
Yes, I have access to sand if I drive 1.5-2 hours but the water is kinda not great... I remember a friend of mine complaining about how dirty the water is in Waikiki but this is a lot worse...
Even though you have rocks all over, I am pretty sure Maine is a great place to go fishing. I miss fishing... Thanks for stopping by!
Oh yes, it was darn nice, Jason.
One question though. Sometimes, I see bloggers taking pictures of hot guys but how do you do that? Do you ask their permission before hand? You should defenitely go to the beach if you can. Miami Beach for example. That was my spring vacation destination's when I lived in KS. It's long to get there but it's worth it! You will "rowr" a lot there. :-) Have a good one!
While I was writing these replies, I saw the new one from Sven so I would like to add my reply to him here...
Hi Sven,
We don't have military actually. We have national defence force but no military. The difference? um... very vague. I looked it up and came up with one web page. Day for people to express gratitude for the gifts from seas and to pray for the prosperity of Japan as a maritime nation. I didn't know this at all. :-)
Good thing I'm not catholic anymore, you tease you.. ;)
That's a good one, Sven. You crack me up! I don't take a shower right after having sex at least. :-) Sweet dreams!
..and you think that image is going to put me to sleep, Shigeki? ;) Have a good day over there :)
The Olympics is halfway through and the Summer Olympics are coming up ... Where can I search for spandex used by Olympic Athletes ?
