At 1:19, when I was just organizing glasses in the kitchen, the earthquake hit the Tokyo area again. Unlike
the recent weird ones, it was a little biggger. That's why one of the glasses fell and crashed. It was
Baccarat!!! that was a gift from my grandmother. Oh well, things get broken so that's unavoidable. I can get over it. But I am very very mad at catfish under the earth if there is any right now. (
Read the previous earthquake post if you don't know what that is) We have a different earthquake scale to show how big/small it is. It's called "Shindo" scale. The description of the scale can be found
here. Take a look at #2 on this page. Tokyo was
3 this time. It wasn't bad but I need to clean this up.. Darn it. Tokyo may be the worst metropolitan city when it comes to natural disasters. But I like it here. :-)
i've only felt an earthquake once in my life and it woke me up from an afternoon nap (actually, i fell off the couch because of it). be careful, okay, shigeki?
Good thing your house is quake-proof, Shigeki :) Put the glasses on towels, that is what a woman told me in Chile. Never had a quake here, as far as I know, so I have no need to est it.
HI Raph, thanks for stopping by. It's a good thing that you have only experienced it once. That's enough for a life time experience, I think. :-)
HI Sven, that's a wise thing to do; laying out the glasses on the towel. I should've done that. I will keep it mind.
