Euro Night (1mo. Late)

I thought I was going to stay late until midnight as usual but I got this e-mail message from a friend of mine who just got back from his vacation. He told me that he got me a DVD of Eurovision 2005!!!. Of course, I "decided" to feel ill and acted sick a little bit. I got to my friend's at 6 in the evening.Other friends came in later. I fixed us something to eat. It's 3 hour long, baby! I am so over that Cypriot. He sang like a bad version of Ricky Martin or something...
My favorite of all is Jakob Sveistrup from Denmark. His song was very charming and easy to follow. What's so great about him is that he is not a professional singer. He is a teacher for autistic children!! In spite of the fact that he does look older than his age 33, I liked the way he dressed. A red flowery shirt which by the way (flowery shirt) is so happening worldwide for men this year, and a nice jacket with red/pink pinstripes. His singing was awesome, too. His shoes were all red, which I think the stylist of his tried to match the color with the national flag of Denmark. I wonder why Denmark didn't score big....Other observations about Eurovision by this asian person from far east are....
  • Why are these BBC commentators from UK so negative about anything? Give me a break. it's just a fun festival!! They were also so whiny about why the U.K. singer didn't get a lot of points.
  • The winner for the year 2005, Greece, was marvelous!!
  • Every reporter to provide the vote results for their country spoke English except for those from French spoken countries...
  • I didn't know Israel was part of Europe
  • I fell so in love with the reporter from Lithuania for 5 seconds as the way he spoke was so dreamy with the slight but not that much noticeable accent. For the record, not the way he looks. Well, maybe, little...
  • I am really amazed at how they can get together and carry on the event like this regardless of the recent EU constitution drawbacks. (well, it's not really relevant if you ask me but...
  • Speaking with an Eastern European accent is so sexy.
  • I was once again reminded that English is definitely the language to communicate with people on this planet.
  • Spain, what the fudge??? This ridiculously looked like a Karaoke Party.
  • It's so great that you can match your shoe's color with the national flag like the guy from Denmark. I can't do that as it's mostly white.... It doesn't go well.
When I went to see a school for a perspective student visit in Stockholm, I was walking alone about 10 mins away on foot from Central Station. There was this big Adidas store there. I went in and found nice shoes with Swedish Flag's blue and Yellow lines. They looked lovely but I didn't buy them because I am not Swedish. I wish my flag's color were more tasteful... Sven, you should buy those as they would look good on Swedes!!

Is it going to be held in Greece in May, 2006? If it is, I may probably wanna go and watch it live next time. :-) Viva Europe! My friend also got me a CD of Eurovision 2005. I am going to import these into my iPod and will be singing in my head while being at work tomorrow. I am so happy. Anyway, it was a wonderful evening relaxing moment! I am now heading home.... Too many beers...

red and white is a pretty nice combination of colours. maybe you can get something in that.

Hi Raph, yes, it's indeed a nice combination. Your national flag has that combination as well. That's good but like Denmark, Red is the majority of the two which is nice. :-) It's not that I cannot wear swedeish colored Adidas Shoes because I am not a swede but you know I heard once that Swedes like their national flags so much. :-) I wish I liked the national flag so much. But it's not my favorite color. Oh well, I will survive. :-) Thanks for stopping by!

Intimately, the post is in reality the freshest topic on this registry related issue. I concur with your conclusions and will eagerly look forward to your forthcoming updates. Saying thanks will not just be enough, for the wonderful clarity in your writing. I will immediately grab your rss feed to stay abreast of any updates.

God i remember Gloria Gaynor very well and what a powerful performer. I Will Survive helped me get through a bad break up and years later he came back looking to get back together and I told him Oh well now go... I will survive.
