Beyond Expectations

Working on Sunday... great... I am pretty sure it's very stressful and challenging to go beyond people's expectations for any one of us. This is the photo of Takuma Sato. He was nominated as one of the 20 promising best Formula 1 drivers in the world. It had been very long to see a Japanese driver up on the victory stand until Takuma showed up. His record for this year hasn't been very great, but he is hanging in there indeed. What's so amazing about him is that he always goes with what his heart tells him to do, and he's achieved a lot of amazing things but he is not really proud of them. He never shows them off. Besides, he is amazingly fluent in English considering he moved out of Japan when he was 22. We usually have a strong thick accent so the English subtitle appears when one of those Japanese speaks English. That's a sad thing, really. But when he speaks in a press conference, the subtitle never comes up!! But he isn't really proud nor cares about how great his English speaking skills are "unlike" some bilingual Japanese who always show these off. Plus, He is kinda short (163cm) but absolutely charming. He may not be one of those super-model guys but I like him very very much. I guess I like him because he is humble and does great things without showing us how hard it would be to do them. I like his driving style, too. He is really cool. Go Takuma! I hope he will do great and goes to a better position later today for United States Grand Prix!! But safe driving!
