Ray of Light

Sun, 10 April 2005

Okay, I bought these sunglasses when I went to Hawaii. It was a compulsive purchase obviously. These were when Tom Ford was a chief designer then. I like some of his philosophy by the way.

Anyway, It is too bright out as it is a clear fine day. I went to a hair salon to get my hair cut this morning. I had sunglasses on. It takes some courage to wear these at least for me because not many people wear them here even if the sunlight is very strong. If you are in Tokyo or wherever in Japan, did you notice there are less people wearing them? I wonder why... So wearing sunglasses would make me more visible, and I don't want that much attention to myself for some reason but I couldn't help so I put them on. Some friends of mine who are Caucasians sometimes say "Oh no" or something when they don't have sunglasses on and when it's too bright. Does the sunlight literally hurt their light colored eyes? Maybe, Asians like me have dark colored eyes so it's not as painful or harmful as it is to them? I don't know as my eyes are always brown....By the way, iTunes Music Store didn't have a listing for Ray of Light so I can't add a link to the music. Thanks
